Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Fountain Valley

First of all they're parking in the spots right next to the restaurant so there is no close spots which is a big no-no they should be parking in the parking lot but not next to the restaurant. And how do I know this I watch some employee get out of their car, now ask for their sandwiches they're not worth the price you pay they do not fill the sandwiches like they used to My husband had to pay extra for tuna because they put enough for mini on a regular any ask for more tune and they said there's a charge The last time he got me a salami sandwich there it was the worst it had very little salami it was like a child's half of a half of a half of a sandwich if they use it by weight the salami used was paper thin and it's getting just as bad there I don't know if the even the owners are telling him to do this or the management is telling me to do this I know it's owned by a guy who's...

I went to get a classic club sandwich and told the young man that was assisting me that I was highly allergic to Avocados (I know, so sad). He immediately took his gloves off, washed his hands, and told me to give him a minute. He returned a few minutes later with a sheet tray covered in fresh sandwich paper, he put fresh gloves in front of me and proceeded to assemble my sandwich making sure he didn't touch anything else. He even used the mayo from a bottle, instead of the one on the cool table, to avoid cross contamination. He was so nice and understanding and he really went the extra way. He took my allergy seriously instead of making me feel bad, like most other places do. I am ver grateful to him and to the whole staff at the Fountain Valley store for the kindness...

Before we went to this Jersey Mikes, I checked the reviews to see if this location was good or not. When I first walked in, the atmosphere seemed really off putting, quite unsanitary and smelled like something died. I went to order and some of the staff started laughing, I think that is very informal because people might misinterpret it for something else. There was about 4 people making my sandwich simultaneously which means not many of them knew how to do their job. They also weren’t sanitary because they didn’t remove their gloves to put on a new pair, nor wash their hands and they didn’t wear any hairnets. There were flies and mosquitoes everywhere.
