So we get here on the day of reservation( 3 families with 3 units booked) & when we get to the front desk office, they told us( about 1:30 pm) one unit only was ready. So we figured since we had to do groceries & had booking for our ski fitting, we will go ahead & do the groceries till they get the other 2 units ready. When we told them our plan, the front desk said “ no problem. Your units will be ready by the time you come back in about one hour for sure.”. We come back in about 1&1/2 hrs with perishable groceries & 2 really tired kids & our ski fitting booking, coming up. The front desk says” your units will be ready by 4”. So we told them why did you tell us otherwise? They had no answers & NO apologies whatsoever!!! At this point I asked if I could speak with the manager & they said they had no manager available!!! We all left with the groceries to get them to the fridge of that one only unit they had given us. My husband & my father- in- law stayed at the front office to get the other 2 units’ keys by 4 pm. Then one lady at the front desk told my husband” your units will be ready anytime after 4”!!! At this point we were thinking what it even meant!!! Maybe 9 pm? 10 pm? Midnight? And remember still NO BODY has even apologized!!! So finally after we are all promising ourselves NOT to come back to the West Condominiums, they gave us our keys at 4 & said “ an inspector will meet you at your unit to ensure everything is clean”. But guess what?!! NO BODY came to inspect our unit & our kitchen table was stickey with something that looked like syrup. One of our kitchen table chairs was sticky & unfortunately my son had already sat on it not knowing it was dirty & his pants got completely sticky! Our kitchen counter also had many sticky spots on it & NOT cleaned at all!! The day before our check out I called to ask for one hour of courtesy late check out( instead of 10 am, 11 am). Both the front desk person & the manager ( Daniel) said they cannot do so because they have a back to back booking & the unit has to be cleaned & inspected before the next guest comes!!! What we find interesting is that how come they did not have our unit ready on our arrival before 4 & NO ONE had clearly inspected it BUT they tell us they cannot give us one hour courtesy late check out to do those things?!! Read moreI don't know about other units, but this one is very run down and quite depressing overall. The carpet is so old that the offer to "steam" it during our stay would not have made any difference. When you are in the bed you get to look at a large stain on the ceiling. Everything is quite beat-up. Even the Dish TV does not work. The bathroom is tiny, outdated, in poor repair and does not have enough space to store your own toiletries. ||||No matter which unit, be forewarned that the walls are very thin here and there is a general culture of loud parties. There were several apres-ski type parties on our hall when we arrived, and one did not let up by 10 PM limit that supposedly exists. We could not sleep through it. The management (iTrip Vacations) said that to fix that problem it would have to follow the homeowners association protocol. It would not reveal whether that was something that would take hours or months. ||||Regarding the rest of the issues in the unit, the iTrip representative who responded to our complaints basically told us that we should have know from the picture on-line what we were getting ourselves into. Gee thanks! No one would think this place would be so bad based on the exorbitant price we paid and the photos did not capture how sad it is. ||||Also, the carpet in the halls is filthy, which suggests that this place is generally poorly managed regardless of which unit you are in. it gives a terrible first impression. ||||It is not very proximal to the ski hill and is at the absolute limit of how far you will want to walk with...

I just spent an insane amount of money to stay in this unit. I walked in and the unit smells moldy and dusty, the paint is pealing, it’s absolutely a million times worse than what we stayed in last year. I can’t believe how horrible the unit is. The internet password isn’t working! One of the keys doesn’t work! The furniture is horrible, and the unit has not been updated in 20 years. When I chose to stay at the west I expected the updated, spacious, amazing view we had last year, and I can’t believe I am expected to stay here. Then when I’m expressing this to Keith your director of guest relations he hangs up on me! Then I called back 11 times to try and discuss these horrible problems and instead of speaking they just refused to talk to me, the front desk only says they don’t have a solution for me.
