Upon entering the store I was greeted and asked if I needed any assistance. The staff was very helpful and attentive during my shopping however, the rudeness of the cashier completely ruined a great experience to the point that I will no longer be shopping at this store. I could tell he was not having a great day by the way he interacted with the customer in front of me. When it was my turn, I stepped up and placed my purchases on the belt and said hello. His response was to simply state the amount owed him. He then requested my ID and when I produced it, he grabbed it from my hand and commented that my finger was covering the birth date. When I gave him my debit card he asked if it was debit or credit to which I replied it did not matter and he could ring it either way. He then tossed the key pad at me without saying anything. I was now getting frustrated with his attitude so I said to him " I guess you want me to put in my pin number". His response was "that would be nice". He then handed me my receipt and that was the end of our transaction. No "thank you" or "have a nice day". Nothing. Now, I don't expect a cashier to jump through hoops and be eternally grateful that I shopped at their store. In fact, I prefer it short and sweet but a little courtesy would be nice. Too bad one bad apple spoils the...
Read moreIts extremely frustrating to try to talk to someone live at this store!!! More times than not when I call either no-one picks up the phone or the VRU (voice mail system) DOES NOT WORK!!!!. You HAVE to go through the VRU to get a choice to speak to ANYONE and tonight for some reason the option to "speak to a sales associate'" (option 3 on the menu) does not connect you to ANYONE. It just keeps talking and talking as you press 3 over and over and over again. None of the other options (II tried them all during 5 subsequent attempts to reach a live body to try to spend $150!!!). Management REALLY needs to provide more monitoring of this lousy system as it is costing them money. This is NOT the first time I Have experienced this problem, and all you can pretty much do is give up. Very crappy business model and terrible customer service. I am actively going to seek an alternative vendor for my roughly $300 a month I have spending with Cool Springs Wine and Spirits for the past year. I am sick and tired of encountering the lame and dysfunctional VRU/voice mail system. And obviously the management doesn't care if they lose business and customers. Take your business elsewhere; somewhere who values your experience...
Read moreThis was my go-to store in the area. After 20-30 bottle purchases, i went out on a limb and asked if they had an allocated product (Four Roses Barrel Strength). Told they did but I'd have to speak to the spirits manager. It was just a ploy to get me in the door. He acted quite surprised I had asked. So yeah, drove down there on a lie. Pretty fun. I get it, its taboo to ask for that stuff, but jesus , I never had before and never will again. Don't expect any sort of patronage to be recognized unless you want a 1500 person turn-out for a bottle lottery once a year OR if you spend a commercial amount of money ($50k+, according to their spirits manager, Jeff)
Edit based on the staff response: I understand that there was a lottery that I missed. I’m okay with that. I called and asked for a product and was given confirmation it was available and WAS TOLD TO DRIVE DOWN AND SPEAK WITH THE SPIRITS MANAGER TO OBTAIN IT. That is why I am upset. Caps so that you can actually read...
