Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams — Restaurant in Franklin

Jeni's is the best place to get ice cream in Tennessee. As a person who has eaten their (perfectly reasonable) weight in ice cream many times over, I can honestly say that the experience at Jeni's is like no other, and their new location is no different. First their employees are always very kind, and their uniforms remind you of a time where going to your local ice cream shop was THE thing to do on a Friday night. Secondly the flavors are so unique that words fail to describe them. Third, they let you try all the flavors before you decide, and what makes Jeni's better than your average ice cream store in this matter, is that all the sample spoons are reusable, and they wash them, so they are eco friendly. Franklin, TN. My granddaughter used to work here: she loves Jeni’s! Great ice cream, customer service, communication from the person who rang us up, teamwork, business model, and atmosphere. Our group of 6 found our favorite flavors and a few new ones. My husband loved his blueberry ice cream even more than his regular scoop of chocolate, so props to their recipe developers.

It’s in the Factory food court which has a disco ball now; the scattered bits of light distracted our cashier who, mid-sentence, said something like, “Whoa, there’s a disco ball! Was that always there?”

There’s lots of seating. We found a high top that accommodated all of us and enjoyed...

Tried Jeni’s ice cream for the first time and absolutely LOVED it! They have some unique flavors that you can’t find at your typical baskin Robbins type of ice cream shop. Definitely more high end too based on the atmosphere and prices. Almost $7 for two “half scoops” of ice cream.

It’s still a nice treat if you’re there to grab lunch or dinner with family or friends. But if you want to indulge a little more I suggest just grabbing a pint of your favorite flavor from Target. They carry the Jeni’s brand pints in their frozen food section and you get much more bang for your buck!
