We went to Mojo's Tacos with a work group today as part of a larger wedding celebration for a co-worker. There is a reason this place is packed at lunch time with a long line. All of our food was delicious and plentiful without being too pricey, which is hard to do in Franklin. I ordered the two tacos and chips combo with one carnitas and one Korean cauliflower, both on corn tortillas. Both of my tacos were absolutely delicious, and I even mentioned to one of my co-workers that I appreciated this taco being Korean cauliflower. One of my annoyances is when a taco place tries to copy a specific Korean dish and just doesn't hit the mark. Making this a Korean cauliflower taco was a very good choice. We also had a few people with fish tacos, brisket tacos, and avocado tacos as well as a giant platter of nachos and chips with guac and queso. As I said, everything was delicious. The person with the nachos definitely did not finish that platter. Order those if there are two of you eating nachos. As for the atmosphere, it is absolutely fun. You walk in and get in line. The menu is very large, so you are able to make your selection prior to reaching the counter. You do order and pay at the counter, but you receive a number for someone to deliver your meal at the table. The service was incredibly quick. Since we did not all arrive at the same time, some of us were done eating before the others even sat down! This is not a problem for us, so no worries. If this is something you do not like, make sure everyone arrives and orders at the same time. If you haven't been to Mojo's tacos, I highly recommend checking them out. You even have time to go at lunch because the service is so quick that you will undoubtedly be out of there in time if you have an hour lunch.

My experience with Mojo's tacos was mediocre at best; I feel the tacos are overpriced and that there are much better (and cheaper!) tacos elsewhere in the area. The service was also not great. My husband and I visited in the evening (it was around 8PM, close to closing but we were by far not last-minute diners). We ordered 5 tacos between the two of us (one was a combo, so came with chips and salsa), and one drink (I drank water). The order was $30!! There are other places where we can get 5 tacos and a drink for about $14. We sat down and waited around for 25 minutes! FINALLY one of the teenage runners asked us if we were still waiting, I said "Yes, we've been waiting for about 25 minutes" and they retook our order. Luckily, the response was fast and we had our tacos within 10 minutes, but it was still a frustrating experience watching plates and to-go orders be filled before ours. The tacos were only "okay" in both my and my husband's opinions -- definitely far too expensive for what we got. The brisket taco and the adobo chicken taco were both pretty good. But the others we got were not good. I was not a fan of the salsa -- too watery, cilantro-y, and not enough of a kick to mask the cilantro taste. TL;DR: Tacos are overpriced and only okay in comparison to other taco eateries; salsa is "meh" at best. Would not recommend; not the best in the area, in my opinion.

I am an employee at the Franklin Factory in another store and went to Mojo’s for my lunch break today. I had a pleasant ordering experience at the food station at Mojo’s. The place was busy so there wasn’t many seating options and being as I was only one person I didn’t want to take up a table for 2 since there was a large line behind me.

I sat at the bar and was approached by a barista. (Didn’t get a name but she had a caked on face of make up, a long white sleeve shirt and light wash jeans) She told me I couldn’t sit there with a number and have food. I asked her if I ordered something from the bar could I remain seated?

She at first said yes and I ordered a Shirley temple (on a lunch break from work, I couldn’t drink alcohol) and her face dropped. She refused to service me informing me it was a bar. And then proceeded to tell me the bar and restaurant were separate entities and they didn’t make money off each other so people with numbers for food couldn’t sit there.

Okay, but they’re not separate entities since you can order appetizers from the restaurant at the bar. And I again said yes but I am trying to order something from you. She got rude and aggressive saying “ma’am, I have already explained this to you, do I need to grab someone to get you out of here?”

So I told her that she was refusing to sell me an order and I “thanked” her for being so rude (verbatim) and told her to “have a nice day”.

I will not go back to the Mojos bar and have told everyone I work with what a rude barista they have and how she’s refusing customer’s service. And I will continue to tell customers at the Factory that ask about where to eat what rude service Mojo’s bar has.

The restaurant part has kind staff but the factory has a bigger better bar at the front that I highly recommend people go to instead. Their...

So, we've hit the 3 times or more mark on dining here (wanted to have enough data points to account for "regression to the mean") so ready to rate...

Choice - about the same as other similar establishments in the area (Taco Mamacita, Mas Tacos, Bar Taco, Bakersfield, etc.) with good cross over of some favorites from those others.

Taste - Delicious! Great fish tacos which are a family favorite but there are several others which I might rate even higher - brisket, adobo chicken, and carnitas come to mind. The street corn is also very well done, very competitive with that served at Plaza Mariachi up the road.

Access - Easy to park with a great location at "The Factory" in Franklin TN. Hidden parking lot on side makes it even easier to access this tasty joint. Like several of its competitors, you order then self seat at a booth. Much easier than Mas Tacos with added convenience of not having to check to make sure you have cash on hand.

Atmosphere - Easy going. Unlike some other "hip" places, not standing room only and conversation is possible without shouting at the top of your lungs.

Added treat(s) - Try the blueberry soda, an unique offering at this place that I haven't found in many other local establishments. Also, if you save enough room for dessert, there is a Jeni's Splendid Ice Cream right outside the restaurant in the indoor atrium.. a plus for those cold, rainy days in winter.

Yes, we live in Franklin but, ironically, we generally prefer to go into the city for most dining experiences. Mojo Tacos gives us a reason to stay...
