My first mistake was eating at the Pittsburgh Mills location, but a few months ago, it wasn't so bad. Tonight, it was not busy at all! My son got chicken tenders and corn, my boyfriend ordered a burger and fries, and I got the dipper combo of mini burgers, Chipotle chicken crispers, and mozzarella. The queso and chips were just okay, and the atmosphere was tense and fake.
I went to the bar to order a shot and noticed that the glass was dirty. Since it was Jameson, I decided to just drink from the other side. I told the girl about the dirty glass, and she said, "Oh, that was from the last customer. I'm so sorry." she had just admitted to not washing the glass properly and that it was someone else's glass. GROSS...but I drank it anyway. Yes I should have said something before drinking it but I try really hard to not be that person!
Twenty minutes later, the waitress, who was also the bartender, came and said, "We're out of mozzarella!" You mean to tell me that with the fries my boyfriend got and the chicken tenders that would also be in the freezer, the cook had just realized this!? Why? Because he or she cooked everything else and then did mine? They were so backed up on their orders that they missed that one??
At that point, I didn't want to pay for anything or get anything else. I stupidly paid for the drinks and the mediocre chips and queso.
Not sure what the manager said when he went back in the kitchen but I just heard him laugh and say " I know " .....You know what sir I should have asked? How am I in the wrong and what is so amusing!?

Read moreMy experience at Chili’s was exceptional UNTIL a group of 4 white young males decided to have an extremely inappropriate and offensive conversation 2 booths over from myself and my mother. They decided it would be appropriate to make the comment “well if you were black you would have been shot” and then proceeded to laugh as if a person losing their life was a joke. I am an African American woman and that comment to be made so freely was extremely upsetting. The manager was very accomendating to the situation, comped and gave us gift cards but felt there was nothing he could do because a few weeks prior when he threw out a couple of gentlemen for making racial slurs towards one of the servers, corporate came down on him for taking the appropriate actions. So corporate I say this to you, I will be down your throat until something is done about this. You cannot keep allowing ignorant people to come into your establishment and make people uncomfortable about their sexual orientation, race, or any distinguishing factors that makes them different from a white male. I will be on the phones every day until a resolution is reached. Read moreI used to eat here occasionally but will not anymore. My wife and I stopped to eat tonight. We sat at the bar as usual. Fifteen minutes go by, there are 5-6 people sweeping and cleaning in the dining area even though they close at 10:00 pm and we sat down at 8pm. The bartender was talking for 15 minutes to a couple seated at a table that obviously were friends. I finally got the attention of a girl bussing tables and said “ is someone working the bar, we have been sitting here for 15 minutes and the bartender has been talking to that table for 15 minutes”. She said, “sir we need to be nice to our customers”. There is a difference between a conversation with customers and with friends. Especially when they are busy. Me and my wife drank our drinks while the barmaid was taking the order of a table that came in 10 minutes after we sat down. She came to us afterwards and I told her we were leaving as we should have been waited on before the people who arrived after us. The manager came over; I responded that the barmaid ignored us for 15 minutes and waited on a table that arrived 10 minutes after we did. He responded with the same line that they need to be nice and talk to customers???? Who owns...
