Good place to grab a pie despite it being hidden in a bad location. We dined in without calling ahead. This is apparently not the best way to go as, while they do have tables inside, only a few and I wouldn't really call it a sit down restaurant. Also, very Pittsburgh-themed, if you care about that. LOL. The pie itself was loaded with toppings that were fresh and flavorful. The sauce balanced tangy and sweet well. Cheese was real, and really oily. The crust was a little thicker than I like, yet due to the amount of toppings on the pie and the very thin slices, you needed two hands to hold it as the slice collapsed as soon as you grabbed it. Definitely worth checking out, although phoning in a carryout order seems to be the preferred method of dining here.

Came here last night from a suggestion on a Facebook group. Lots of people stated it was the best pizza in Frederick. Now we’ve only tried a few other places as we’re not from around here. Most of the food was good. But none of us were impressed with the pizza. I didn’t even snap a picture of it, it was that mediocre. Just my opinion, where I’m from the pizza tastes different. So it’s probably just me. Boyfriend said the wedge was good. He never gets full, but that thing made him stuffed. I’m still gonna stick with a 5 star as the food came out fast, a lot of people seem to like it, and it was what it was supposed to be. Food was reasonably priced too. The restaurant was also very, very small with only a few tables.

I love the mom and pop style being I've had 4 similar style restaurants, we got 2 large extra cheese, pizza was perfect our cashier was very friendly and atmosphere was typical mom and pop, been here many times, this is Frederick's hidden gem...Iam back , never disappoints , yall are always on point we got 4 large this time, 2 plain 2 pepperoni, all were perfect

Bellisario's Pizza is a true gem that stands out for its incredible combination of delicious food, welcoming atmosphere, and unbeatable prices. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted by friendly faces and a warm ambiance that makes you feel right at home.

The pizza here is nothing short of amazing, with a perfect blend of crispy crust, savory sauce, and generous toppings that leave your taste buds begging for more. Whether you're a fan of classic pepperoni or adventurous enough to try their specialty pies, you won't be disappointed.

But it's not just the food that makes Bellisario's special. The prices are more than reasonable, offering fantastic value for the quality and portion sizes. It's a place where you can indulge in a feast without breaking the bank.

And let's not forget the decor—Steelers fans will feel like they've found their second home. The walls are adorned with Steelers memorabilia, creating a vibrant and spirited atmosphere that adds to the overall experience.

Bellisario's Pizza is a must-visit for anyone looking for great people, mouthwatering food, and a slice of Pittsburgh pride. Don't miss out on this...

Pizza was great. Employees were nice. I rate on pizza alone (For disclosure: I'm an owner of a NYC style pizza chain and have worked/eaten at a lot of the NY and Chicago pizza places.) Keep the pizza simple (pepperoni only for us) and that keeps the pizza good. Most NYC style pizzas will get greasy/soggy in the middle and this is no different here. The crust was extremely good with a high gluten chew but also with a slightly crusty exterior. Very good quality cheese and just enough sauce with the requisite herbs(but not overpowered). I highly suggest waiting a few minutes for the pizza to cool off before eating/pulling it apart otherwise the cheese won't separate right and it all slides off the greasy point end.

This is an older establishment so don't expect fancy surroundings. The prices were reasonable and they have 20" pizzas which was great (chains call their 16" pies as XL...

Have had medium pizzas before which are really good, among the tastiest in the area. Got a large for a change and the dough didn't seem entirely baked. Crust and sauce were good as usual. Young lady who waited on me was very sweet. My sister usually picks up here, but the few times I've been in, sadly never experience the kind of engagement I get at other pizza places. Soon after walking in, partly caught guy farther back sneeze, the way it looked to me was towards his hands. Couldn't tell what he was working on, but I didn't hear running water (for washing hands) after the sneeze Then noticed a woman topping a pizza was wearing gloves, which gave me reassurance. But the more I think about it, the sneeze kind of has me concerned and I cannot order here again...
