Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Frederick

I I could give 0 stars I would.. I placed an order on 7/9/22 at 6:31 pm.. delivery was supposed to be here within 30-40 mins. By 8:15 pm I called the store (I have the call proof on my phone) as I had not received my order. The gentleman I spoke to unfortunately I did not write down his name told me The manager that could do a refund was not at the location and he could only offer me a credit, I agreed and he stated he would attach it to my account. I Called today and requested to how to move forward with using my Credit and the Gentleman Josh was the name I was give told me he was the store manager and he did not see any credit. I explained to him what had happened and I said it was close to 2 hrs from when I ordered. He then began to argue with me that thete is no credit on my account and since I did not have the name of who I spoke to there's nothing He can do.he then began to be extremely rude and argue that the pizza left at 7:30pm and that the driver returned by 8:30pm.. he said I could call corporate or who ever I wanted. When I asked him again for his name he refused to tell me and said he already told me. I had to call 3 more times and be hung up on just get his name and was told not to call that location again. $37 is not alot, but who treats their customers that way? Not only did my family have to wait until after 8:15pm to eat but the food was cold and soggy. In the many years I've been a customer for papa johns NEVER have I had an issue or a complaint, until now and will definitely never order from here again.

I just read the preview reviews and ot seems to be a constant Issue with this location, One review even stated it hopes this places closed soon. I dont hope for that but management needs to be looked into to tor...

Previously had left a 4* review and have been coming here consistently for 3 years but now need to change that.

Placed an online order for carryout today: 1 Large Cheese Stuffed Crust 1 Large 1/2 Cheese 1/2 Mushroom & Pepperoni 1 Cheese Bread 1 Garlic Parmesan Bread sticks 1 Chicken Parmesan Papa Bites 1 Oreo Papa Bites 3 extra pizza sauce

When I arrived to pickup (after getting message it was ready) my food was nowhere to be found, apparently a delivery driver had just picked it up and taken it with them.

I met the owner, Josh, and he was very quick to get a replacement order in and was even nice enough to void my order and not charge me for it.

I wish my evening could have stopped here.

While waiting for my order I watched: An employee attempt to hand another customer the wrong order. And later that same employee dropped some empty boxes on the floor while stacking them, then proceeded to pick them up and stack them right alongside the others.

When they later said my order was ready (second time) it was missing not only the bread sticks but the entire Large 1/2 Pepperoni & Mushroom. I'll give credit where it is due and Josh noticed this before I even did and ended up making the pizza himself since nobody had done it the first time.

That was eventually finished and 45 minutes after arriving I finally left and went home, only to find out it wasn't my Large Cheese Stuffed Crust but an XL Sausage and Pepperoni and missing the extra sauces.

Josh you were great on your individual customer service in trying to fix things but I'm not sure I'll be able to come back here with the incompetence of...

I'm officially done with this location. I had problems with them not delivering properly, taking forever, not following delivery instructions, the tracking not working, etc. so I hadn't ordered for a while.

Today I tried again after many months. They managed to get the pizzas here on time and left them on the porch as requested, but they were TERRIBLE.

The steak and cheese had barely any steak on it. I don't mean it was a little light to my taste, I mean after eating 2 slices, I found 2 TINY little molecules of steak (less than a centimeter square). If you looked at the pizza and didn't know what we ordered, you'd say it was green pepper pizza.

The meat ball and pepperoni pizza was amazingly tasteless. The Italian seasoning that you could see on top was not detectable in flavor. The meatballs were just plan meat and some sort of filler--no spices or herbs, little taste.

Both pizzas had bizarre puffy crust that didn't have the proper texture of pizza. More like some sort of over-conditioned "bread" with no chew to it.

This was awful. I'd feel ashamed working at a place that served customers so poorly. I hope this location goes out of business, and if this is representative of the chain then I hope the whole thing goes out...
