This just happened, we ordered online two big breakfast platters, everything was paid for and we have a receipt for it. It was confirmed by the 1st window and when we got to the second window, a woman working the second window claimed to not have any proof of the order despite us showing her proof on the app. It seems like she might’ve given our order away as she tried to hand us a different order and was too lazy to remake it for us. She told us it wasn’t in the system therefore she can’t give us our order but if it wasn’t how did the man in the 1st window confirm our order? We wasted $15.07 for no reason. I can understand if there was a miscommunication or a glitch in the system but to be told and shown proof and not resolve anything is beyond lazy and is theft. I understand food service is a mentally taxing job BUT I would appreciate if certain workers would not take it out on the customers who just want to be in and out and cause no problems! I was extremely disappointed by this morning and advise for others to be weary of online ordering especially if you need to budget and save money!

This place deserves a zero star rating for the service we received while there .. nothing! Me and my family entered the restaurant and no one was at the front counter. We waited a while and someone came through the entrance. We were still deciding on what we wanted to eat, so we let her go ahead of us. When someone finally came to the counter the lady we let in front of us ordered and the woman at the counter clearly saw us behind them but after she took the lady in front of us' order she dissapeared. We then proceed to wait and several people looked at us and didn't say anything. My family decided if one more person looked at us and didn't help we would leave. And I'm typing this from the Burger King nearby 😂. That was very poor service.

This place deserves a zero star rating for the service we received while there .. nothing! Me and my family entered the restaurant and no one was at the front counter. We waited a while and someone came through the entrance. We were still deciding on what we wanted to eat, so we let her go ahead of us. When someone finally came to the counter the lady we let in front of us ordered and the woman at the counter clearly saw us behind them but after she took the lady in front of us' order she dissapeared. We then proceed to wait and several people looked at us and didn't say anything. My family decided if one more person looked at us and didn't help we would leave. And I'm typing this from the Burger King nearby 😂. That was very poor service.

I want to give Zero star if I could. If you think all these bad reviews on this restaurant is exaggerating, you are wrong. I wish I read previous reviews before I visited here. I used drive through , placed my order and paid and that is when the nightmare started. I waited in line patiently for about 7 minutes for 2 cars in front of me to move. And when it was my turn, the lady in dark shirt gave me wrong food and I told her that is not what I ordered. She asked me if I ordered happy meal with chicken nuggets, which I did, and also asked me if I paid already. I said I paid at the first window and she just closed the window and did not come back for another 7 - 8 min. No one at the drive through window , but I could see my food just sitting on the countertop inside. Finally, I waved at the lady inside who was wearing green shirt and she opened the window and told me i needed to pay. I told her I already paid and she said the computer is broken and I needed to come inside to make payment. I showed her the receipt and she was frustrated with me which I do not understand why it was her who was upset, not me, and handed me the ordered and rushed me to move out of the line. I asked her to give me my receipt back, and she wrinkled it and handed it to me shouting 'You TAKE THIS'. Again, am I the only one who thinks it is crazy that she is the upset one, not me??? I sighed, and she yelled at me if i needed something else, and i said no. Instead, I asked her name and she told me why she would need her name. I told her I will just file a complaint online and she said she was the manager. I told her I already know that by the uniform you are wearing. Then, she yelled at me again to move out of the line because there are people waiting behind me. Not only they do not know how to work, they do not know how to work in service industry. I do not expect 5 star customer service from McDonald's, but it is beyond the rudeness. After waiting in line for 15 minutes, being accused of not paying, not getting my food, why are they yelling at me? If anyone should yell or is frustrated, it should be ME, not THEM! This is my first Google Review and hopefully the last one. I do not invest my time to complain about bad service, but I have to let others know about this McDonald's so they do not have to treated like Sh** for PAID food & service. Oh, and guess what. When I checked my receipt at home, they charged me for wrong menu as well! This...

During my visit to the drive-thru, I encountered an incredibly distressing incident involving your representative, Alejandro. It became apparent that he assumed my party did not speak Spanish and proceeded to make derogatory remarks about my elderly father, who moves at a slower pace. His disrespectful comments were aimed at pressuring us to expedite our order. As a result, we felt targeted and disrespected. Upon bringing this issue to the attention of the manager on duty, Claudia, I was further dismayed by her response. Instead of addressing the issue with the seriousness it deserved, she attempted to deceive me by claiming that Alejandro was addressing her, which I found to be utterly untrue. Moreover, when I requested their names for documentation purposes, Claudia visibly attempted to conceal her uniform, adding to the distress of the situation. It is deeply disheartening to have experienced such a lack of professionalism and integrity within your establishment. The behavior exhibited by your staff not only tarnished the reputation of your business but also left a lasting negative impression on me as a customer. I trust that you will take swift and appropriate action to address this matter and prevent such distressing incidents from reoccurring in the future. I sincerely hope that steps will be taken to ensure that all staff members are trained to uphold the highest standards of customer service and respect for all patrons. Ordered on app for pickup in store, the sign says 6am. Door was locked. Went through drive thru they told me the sign was wrong they snapped and said they’d open the lobby. I told them to just refund and cancel the order, they couldn’t do that but they’d get a manager. I told them I’d wait in the drive thru till they found her. She said the order number has letters and numbers, I said I ordered for pickup in store it is 1603– she seemed slow, oh that was the manager. She said she couldn’t find it. So I showed her my iPhone showed her where it said the order number and the address of store, they I showed her how much they charged me. She then lied and said I wasn’t charged yet I have my receipt on the app. The manager a heavyset woman with black hair is severely retarded, don’t know who she blew to get that job cause clearly her intelligence had nothing to do with it. Of course the first guy I talked on the loudspeaker was ready to give me the order before I said I wanted to cancel it. Seriously just go to a different store, this franchise is managed by someone who doesn’t know when the store opens and how to use the computer. The McDonald’s on grove rd in buckystown is always busy and you might have to wait but they’ve never screwed up my order...
