From NC, and really enjoy Firehouse in my hometown. So, I have a set standard. Walk in and I'm the only customer. The place looks dead. There's an employee at one of the tables doing some paperwork? Sadly, I assume it is a manger seeing how laid back he was. Anyways, no friendly greeting that I am normally used to at Firehouse. But, me appetite insists on dragging me further. An employee walks out and waits for me at the register to make my decision; still no greeting response. So as I continue, I give him my order; large engineer on wheat bread with a combo. The employee asks if I wanted the pickle; consented with a 'yes'. I can sense his attitude of not wanting to be there; no customer service whatsoever. Still the only customer, I waited a good 12 mins. In between the wait, there seemed to be some sort of drama with another employee about her personal life. The guy who made my sandwich seemed to be involved with the situation; which may have been the cause to the timeliness of the rest of my meal. Upon receiving, I took my bag to go. Return to my room, I unwrapped the anticipated sandwich. Prior to taking the first bite, I notice I was missing something.........Of course, the Firehouse signature pickle spear. Read moreI've been to several locations and every single time I go here I'm thoroughly disappointed. The sandwiches are horrible... they ALWAYS mess something up in my order. I've always ever ordered online and then went to pick it up. The first time I did this I showed up to pick up my food and they told me, "Oh, sorry, didn't see your order come through." 20 minutes later I finally walked out with my food. This last time I showed up 10 minutes late to pick up my food and it still wasn't ready!! They messed up my son's order and both times I had to ask for a fireman's hat... I thought that came with the meal. I will never waste my time or money here again. I'll be going to Southpoint, which means I won't eat at Firehouse Subs nearly as much as I would if the location close to me didn't...

With me I want a grilled cheese only sold off kids menu I was told no and was spoken to very rudly the lady at the register gave me my order appoliged for the rudeness if fellow employee and she walked out on her shift stating she will not allow guests to be treated that way I'm proud of her for standing up in what she believes in you lost a great employee you should hiring more like her or try get her back but as me ny family will not be returning to the location.
