Our recent dining experience at Outback Steakhouse on Friday, 02/02/2024 was elevated to a remarkable level of satisfaction, largely due to the outstanding service provided by Jennifer B., our server. Despite the bustling atmosphere with a 30-45 minute wait, Jennifer managed to deliver impeccable service that truly exceeded our expectations.
From the moment we were seated, Jennifer displayed an unparalleled level of attentiveness. She made us feel like we were her top priority - not once did we feel neglected or overlooked, a testament to her professionalism and dedication to her craft.
One of the standout qualities of Jennifer's service was her proactive approach to ensuring our dining experience was enjoyable. She anticipated our needs, consistently refilling our beverages without the need for us to request it. Her attention to detail was evident in every aspect of her service, making us feel valued and appreciated as customers.
What truly set Jennifer apart was her genuine warmth and politeness. Despite the hectic environment, she remained composed and greeted us with a smile. Her positive attitude contributed greatly to the overall pleasant atmosphere of the restaurant.
In an era where exceptional customer service is becoming increasingly rare, Jennifer's performance was a breath of fresh air. She exemplified the qualities of a truly exceptional server, going above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was nothing short of exceptional.
Overall, I cannot commend Jennifer B. enough for her exemplary service at Outback Steakhouse. Her qualities are truly commendable and she is a shining example of how outstanding customer service can make a significant difference. Jennifer B. should be recognized. If you have the opportunity to dine at Outback Fredericksburg, I highly recommend requesting Jennifer B. as your server for a truly...
Read moreOutback has managed to bureaucraticize being a waiter. What I mean by this is that one person is responsible for typing in your order to an electronic keypad then separate people are responsible for bringing it. The ordering people are not responsible for you actually getting food. And the food staff are not responsible for anything except what theyâre told to bring.
The result of this arrangement is the abdication of responsibility. No one is responsible for you getting food. This continues until you just donât get service, then your ordering waiter finally realizes this just isnât working and takes some action to see you get food or order.
Tonight at Outback we got seated and ordered drinks and an appetizer. The food staff brought our appetizer, but then denied any knowledge about our drinks. We werenât able to place our order for food for about 25 minutes after we arrived. We didnât get our drinks until well after the appetizer came.
The soup, appetizer and fries were good. The steak lacked flavor and became gum like upon chewing it. I had to spit out portions of about 3/4 of bites. I only tried to eat about half of it. To be fair, my wife said her steak was good.
Previously at Outback we again had problems with the division of waiter responsibility. It just continued with us not getting service until the ordering waiter recognized we werenât being served and took some responsibility to fix it.
I gave this place 2 stars because the service is consistently slow and the food has quality issues. The long wait to order and the lack or responsibility is frustrating. You get staff coming to your table and saying itâs not their problem until someone recognizes this isnât working. I gave it credit for the appetizers and side dish tasting good.
Overall the service is so consistently frustrating it outweighs...
Read moreUpdate 06/09/2024 I'm sitting at the bar I didn't know what I wanted but that was 10 -15 minutes ago or more. Maybe I should get a table huh? Got my own silverware, bread is good, I actually had to ask another waitress for it. At first it felt frozen but they heated it up for me, thanks. Hope the prime rib brings back great memories so I can upgrade this post. So, had the prime rib classic medium rare, asparagus and a baked potato. The baked potato was delicious. Not sure what was going on with the asparagus, trying to post a picture. Taking prime rib home with me. Don't think I should be here any longer being disappointed. Manager was really nice.
UPDATE! 11/13/2020 They are upping their game during the Pandemic. Maybe because they need customers as much as we need to get out sometimes.
This is hit or miss if you order a steak and that's the only reason I come to Outback. I wouldn't recommend coming hungry either, because if you need to send your steak back and you order steak and lobster you're going to have one without the other what's the point? My fault, I decided to eat my medium well State anyway although I ordered it medium rare. I really like this outback maybe because I don't have to drive 10 miles to the other one which is in Stafford but I'm one for 7 that's not a good batting average in any sport. They do pour a mean Stella. Five...
