First thing after being seated by the host i asked her if they served coke or pepsi products and she had no answer other than your waiter will be with you shortly even tho i after explained and asked again. I replied that i wanted to go to the restroom to wash my hands before eating and received the same answer as she handed the menu to us. So i had to look for myself and instead went with a raspberry lemonade. i went to the restroom to wash my hands. And shockingly there was alot of paper towel shreds all over the floor in the mens bathroom as soon as you walked in. Over 15 pieces and 1 balled up. So as i do when i see stuff like that i grabbed another paper towel amd picked ot up. Also there storage room in the mens bathroom was left half way open filled with toilet paper and paper towels soap and cleaning supplies in it. I then returned to my table where they had placed a salad and bread sticks with plates and with the big bowl on the table and 4 people at a 4 seated table there was bearly any room as she brings out another serving of salad she also placed the new bowl on my friends clean plate to grab the empty one amd walks away leaving it on my friends plate. It shocked me and him both! So we had to replace it in the proper spot. I have always gone to the bar or did carry out and had only had sat at a table once. And the service was good and clean even on veterans day when i got my free meal. So minutes after our food arrived. Presentation was good and my glass was about half way. She asked if my other friend wanted more hot water for tea but didn't bring any tea bags so we waited for about 5 minutes for her to return which wasn't to bad. However maybe 10 min. Later my glass was empty and i had to stop eating for 13 minutes and 43 seconds for her to return to ask for a refill. Which i timed after having to wait for the tea packets. After that she disappeared again and the bus girl had came out and brought us our drinks. The crazy part is they where slow and had maybe 15-20 tables in the whole Building excluding the bar with a minimum of 6 hostess. And our waiter had only 1 other table. The food was pretty good even tho they over cooked only a small corner of my chicken parmesan. We gave her a 15% tip only being it was slow even tho she didn't seem to really want to do her job. And i gave it a 4 bc even tho we had a bad waiter this time ive had plenty of good experience with the place. I won't judge the place by one waiter beings i have been there many other times and had great service, food and quality. Hope you enjoy your visit if you...
Read moreI remember when going to Olive Garden meant something really special. It was a restaurant of great atmosphere; filled with smiles and laughter and lots of full stomachs! There was such selection on the menu, and in the end, it didn’t matter what you chose, you knew it was going to be good. Prices were reasonable, so one did not feel it would cost a paycheck to feed a few people.
Unfortunately, that was NOT the experience we had. It’s been a little while since I’ve been to an Olive Garden … probably a couple of years. But we were just so disappointed when we left.
Service was mixed. The server was friendly enough, and she had been there a few years, so she kind of knew the menu. But, all-in-all, service was slow. Server actually forgot if I had ordered soup or salad. She did not know how to pour wine, although she claimed she was trained (didn’t show). There was grated cheese all over the food and all over the table. Empty plates and bowls were not picked up until the very end. So, we had a table full of dirty place settings.
Food was boring. Those great selections were gone and the menu seemed very limited … like back when places were slowly opening from COVID. The pasta dishes were just mediocre at best, and mine actually was a little closer to the greasy side. Speaking of greasy, I used to love those bread sticks … but ours were just greasy and loaded with garlic salt on top like someone was trying to cover something up. And since we’re in an Italian restaurant, we used to enjoy trying to figure out what wine to get. At this location, there simply wasn’t really anything good to choose from. And prices nowadays for what you get … it’s not affordable “Italian” dining anymore.
Atmosphere was okay. It was definitely not as festive at it once was. But, there wasn’t the crowds either … good thing / bad thing. Good because it meant less waiting and less noise. Bad because we could not understand why it took so long to get our food. Even just the salad took forever to come out. And in the end, … the Olive Garden of yesterday always had those little Andes candies mints as you left. It was the true icing on the cake, so to speak. But, no Andes candies from our visit here, and not even a bag to help carry out the leftovers.
We are surely not in a hurry to return. And if this is the Olive Garden of today, then competition will blow them away. Because, we will surely be looking for another option for affordable...
Read moreHorrible visit, long story. My family went 2 weeks ago at 230 pm on a Saturday. The restaurant was empty. We sat for 15 minutes with no service and had to seek out a server. The manager came over to let us know we had been sat at a table with no server and she assigned someone to take care of us. We received a complementary app but that’s only where the troubles began. It took over 5 minutes after talking with the manager for our server to greet us and take our drink/food order. We sat for probably over 15 minutes and had to seek out another server to ask about the breadsticks and salad. When the waitress brought the breadsticks and salad the plates weren’t chilled, they were warm and she told us she was looking for a cheese grater that’s why it took so long to bring them out. We sat after that for 15+ minutes and had to seek out a server again because we never received our food and our drinks were sitting empty. Our server swung by our table to let us know our food was finished and she had to bring salad to another table then she would get our food. It was over 5 minutes after that she brought out our food (which looked and tasted nasty and old - the steak was cold in the middle and well done when we ordered medium rare) one of the plates was missing. She told us another waitress had mistakenly taken it and they were making another plate. When that missing meal finally came the scallops were completely raw. at this point we were over it. We asked for it to be removed from our bill and we wanted boxes and to leave. We ended up getting 20% off and a free app, but the food we brought home made us all sick that evening so we had to throw everything out. I reached out to corporate to complain and it took 2 weeks for the restaurant to call. I didn’t answer because I was sick and not feeling like talking, plus I would like to only communicate with them through email. I love Olive Garden, but this experience soured my mouth and won’t be returning...
