The Grand White Rabbit Tea Co — Restaurant in Fredericksburg

I had ordered the mango tea and the blueberry tea. I have to say it was out of this world. The fresh mango and fresh blueberries in the tea let me know that this was handcrafted and fresh. I had also ordered the BBQ beef pie and the Beef Gravy pie. What I got to say about those pies is that the crust was golden and perfectly flakey. Each bite was an experience like no other. The meat was proportioned evenly and melted in my mouth how tender it was. The atmosphere of TGWRT was relaxing and I felt welcomed to be there. I’ve never had a matcha from a boba tea shop this good before. The matcha was a vivid green, the flavors were delicious, and the boba was a good texture with a flavor they didn’t over power the matcha. Our matchas are long gone and we miss them dearly.

Bathrooms were clean, plenty of seating with outlets next to them, and a very kind barista named Josephine. The drinks she made were SO GOOD! And she gave us a well rehearsed introduction to TGWR.

My only critiques are that it was hard to get a parking spot near by but the walk was nice and the sign says TGWR and not The Grand White Rabbit Tea Co so it was a little confusing to find. A logo would have been nice.

We recently came in for the first time. I love that there are organic ingredients, and that the fruit syrups are homemade. The place was spotless, and the staff was very friendly. One thing I'd recommend is adding a sweetness option on the ordering kiosk. I didn't like artificial sweetener, but I don't like the full amount of sugar in my tea. Other tea places give you the option of percentages of sweetness. I hope there is a way to add that to the ordering process. I was able to ask the employee to make it drinks half sweet, but of they had been busy it would have been difficult. It might seem pricey for tea, but I'm happy to pay for homemade, organic products.
