La Luna Bakery & Cafe — Restaurant in Fresno

I went on a request for a chocolate donut for a friend in the hospital . It was late, so i googled late night donuts near me. since it was by my house and on the way to the freeway, i stopped to fulfill my order. But when i got inside, there were no donuts. only a few mexican style pastries breads and that was it . On my way out i spotted some big cookies at the end of the glass case . There were about 6 different cookies (i thought ) but when i asked what flavor she said all the same. So i said ok i guess ill get 2 of the m&m cookies . Thinking at leaste you can't f-up a cookie ,right ? When i have it to my friend, was happy i had at leaste brought something. We both took a bite 🫦 into stale,flavorless cookies, then spit it out. We stopped in today for a bite to eat, and this place is pretty dang good! We ordered some tortas, and got some pan, as well as their frappes, all of which were/are very delicious! The lady working there was sooo nice, and helpful. She made us feel very welcome, and the wait time wasn't bad either. You can eat there, or order to go. It's also extremely clean inside, which I had to mention, cause some places aren't all that tidy. Anywho, we will mos-def be back to try more items, like their tamales! Worst panaderia ever! I stopped by coming from a different side of town. I usually go to El Ranchito panaderia. I decided to give this place a try. I stopped by like 4pm, there wasn't a big selection of sweet bread. The lady charged me almost 6 dollars for three pieces of regular bread nothing special. When I got home , I took a bite and the bread was stale and hard. I was soo disappointed. I was craving some pan dulce and this is what I got.
