If you’re in Fresno and craving a burger that actually lives up to the hype, Smash Bros Bistro is a must-visit. From the moment I walked in, the vibe was warm and welcoming—friendly staff, open seating, and a menu that balances creativity and comfort.

I ordered the classic smash burger (double patties, cheese, pickles, shaved onions—absolutely nailed it) and a side of truffle parmesan fries. The burger had that perfect crisp-edge, flavorful crust that comes from smashing the patty while retaining juiciness. The fries were generous, well-seasoned, and hit the truffle note without being over the top.

I also appreciated their attention to detail: fresh buns from a local bakery, quality meat, even the fried Brussels sprouts caught my eye on someone else’s table. The atmosphere feels like a modern bistro rather than a typical fast-food joint—which is a plus.

Fantastic place to eat. We entered to an incredibly clean restaurant, it was nice and quite. One of the owners was taking orders. It was our first time here, so my wife and I were unfamiliar with the menu. The owner answered our questions politely, explaining what was on the burger and clarifying what one of the sandwiches was for my wife. We sat down and within a few minutes our food was out, so quick service that I much appreciate! And THE FOOOD. IT WAS FANTASTIC. I decided to go out on a limb and get the truffle fries and my wife got the sweet potato fries. Both of these items are hit and miss even at expensive sit down places. The truffle fries weren't overpowering and had the prefect amount of salt as well as that earthy flavor from the truffle. The sweet potato fries were crispy and well salted, something that we seem to have trouble getting from most other places lol. The burger was fantastic and well seasoned, same with my wife's chicken sandwich....

An absolute gem amongst stones! When you walk into this little bistro...You're immediately impressed with the style and cleanliness. Feels like this place should be in Old Town Clovis or in San Luis Obispo! It's a very quaint & refreshing place to enjoy a meal. Service was excellent....And the food didn't disappoint. Our party ordered several smash burgers, fried chicken sandwiches, sweet potato fries, truffle fries....And everything came out FRESH and delicious. Frankly, I think if you're looking to try a new restaurant with a very low probability of disappointing....Give this place a shot. And it's NOT overpriced! Where in the world are you going to get an ice cream sundae served in a glass dish for three bucks? A smash burger combo for 15 bucks? What a deal!
