Where do I start... The customer service at this location is hideous. They were rude from the start. I came in to buy a turkey. I got there at 11:03; they open at 11:00. When I entered the restaurant I asked for a restroom. I go to the restroom leaving my brother at the register. Now remember, they have only been open for 3 minutes, but the restroom is NASTY. Nasty... all ready... they've only been open 3 minutes!
Anyway, while I'm away, one of the workers ask my brother what he wanted to order. He told him he wasn't ordering anything and that I had ordered a turkey. The worker rather curtly ask for the last name and then walks away, comes back and throws a receipt off of my credit card and a pen onto the counter and insist that my brother sign it. When he reminds the worker that it's not his credit card and that the guy who made the order would sign the receipt, the worker stormed off in a huff obviously annoyed.
When I approached the counter I saw the preprinted receipt, but I also had a coupon from their Rotisserie Turkey flyer for $5 off any purchase. However, because they had already printed off my receipt I decided to use the other coupon for a free Cobbler. When I gave him the receipt and the free cobbler coupon, he became even more annoyed and first stated that I had to buy an entrƩe. I reminded him that I'm buying a $45 turkey. So he then reluctantly offered me a "small cobbler." Now, the Individual Cobbler is $2.99, while the Texas Size Cobbler is $4.99; so I'm already losing $1.99 out of that deal by not being able to use the $5 off coupon.
Ok... the food... Although I usually prefer my take out orders to come without the attitude, I took the order anyway. I bought the 10-12 pound Rotisserie Turkey, and let me tell you... You can't get Rotisserie Turkey without the ROT. This turkey sucks! I had better turkey in the army. For starters, the "10-12 lbs. turkey" cooked down to about 5 1/2 pounds. Even if they gave me a 10 pounder it lost about 50% of it's weight while cooking. The meet is dry. The taste is bland, except for the skin which had a weird rotting meat taste and was extremely salty. (I'll amend this review later if I get food poisoning.) And the free cobbler was a dry, bland, gloppy mess.
I will not ever eat there again. The food is not worth the cost. The place was nasty and unclean. The workers copped an attitude even though I never complained or said anything to set them off. And, they act like they are in business to do the customer a favor rather than offer a service in exchange for...
Read moreOrdered the sour cream chicken enchiladas because they used to be SO good and fresh. Have not had them in years. When they brought them out, my first thought was they don't look the same as they used to. Second thought, they look "old". Third thought, why are they in this container. I should have just taken them back, but I didn't. I only ate the chicken out of them. It wasn't until after I finished that I saw the lid underneath the container (this was dine-in by the way). Today is 11.23. They were made on 11.21. 𤮠They were to be eaten by 11.23 at 8:14 AM. It's 4 PM. The rice was cold and piled up high as if the old rice was added to the fresh rice. Picked up my peach cobbler, it was cold. The only thing that was good was the ice cream for the cobbler and my drink. Very disappointed. I have never had this type of experience at CC. This is only my second time coming here - to this location. The first time some months back was good as usual. Elijah's customer service was very good. Gave him 5 stars. Everything else was very disappointing. For me to write a review while still in the restaurant...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreHorribly managed location. We went in for lunch today because we had a free peach cobbler coupon that we received via email that very clearly shows ice cream served on top. As we were leaving we went to claim our dessert and the manager, who was busy barking orders rudely to her employees served the dessert with no ice cream. When asked, she said it would be $1 extra for a tiny scoop of vanilla ice cream. When shown the picture, she blamed corporate for bad marketing, and I paid the stupid dollar because my 2 year old son wanted ice cream. This is a short-sighted way of doing business over next to nothing after we had just spent $30 on a pretty average meal. We will not return to this location and suggest corporate evaluate the management here. I also pointed out how dark it was at the counter because they had 4 bulbs burned out and she shrugged it off like it was no big deal and said āyou think itās bad now, last night at dinner nobody could read the menuā. There is a Home Depot less than 5 minutes away. A manager that cared would have taken the first opportunity to replace the bulbs. My...
