Didn't expect to see SO many, up to 25% very negative reviews for this store, at Main St in Frisco, plus another 25% of "so-so". Pretty stinky for the reputation of one of the best "hi-end" and IT friendly eateries in the country. As I observe all the bad reviews started from 2 yrs ago till now, which tells me the franchise does nothing to "fix" the management. Here is the fresh episode from this long living narration, after the most recent of 3 months ago. Today, on the eve of 2018 Easter, I stopped by for a lunch, right after 12pm, the Sat surge of customers didnt start yet. Regarding order - all was "in order". Could not make hot tea - hot water pot with a sign "6:30am" was not even luke warm, after 6 hours since it was placed there hot. Told that a girl behind the register, she said she will bring hot water to my table. Waited for 15 min - "no show". Asked again. In another 10 min, another lady brought me that water. Meaning - nobody cared to actually changed water in entire pot. Why bother if very few ask for tea but coffee. For those who order salad: check the greens you are about to swallow - they were not "greet" in my bowl - few leaves of arugula which was the main purpose of that salad for me - were plain yellow. If arugula is yellow, its place is in trash not on the plate. Clearly, nobody cares in that kitchen about that. I came up to Jessica, the "manager" - all those loud titles and words for lacking big time elementary CS skills - showed her yellow arugula on the napkin and told that such should be in trash, not on plate. It was a very low voice soft spoken suggestion. She replied that she will "make sure it will be taken care of". Wrong answer, Jessica. Your answer should have started from at least "Sorry". It didnt. And I am not impressed that your future customers will be "taken care about" as I am , the current one, didnt even get an apology. Not speaking of a suggestion to replace the salad. I wouldn't need it and take but that's what a proper CS training is. And if a "manager" demonstrates such a poor level of it, what to expect of her subordinates. Staff doesnt look motivated at all. That was my first and the last visit there. This place is doomed to loose business as soon as new PB stores will...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI'm an avid Panera buyer.
One night I came to this one for the second time. First, I waited at the order here for 5 minutes until I had to say Hello for someone to acknowledge me. Don't they have a sensor? When I pulled to the window, there were, I counted 8 people working behind there. And when I went inside the store, which I will explain why later, only one couple was there, already eating. Basically, they weren't doing anything.
Likewise, many things were out. Which is fine, okay, I can substitute.
But he told me the chicken noodle soup was out AFTER he charged my card for it and I waited in the drive thru for 7 minutes? I could've gone elsewhere.
So he had me pay for a chicken noodle soup I didn't get.
Likewise, they were out of the side french baguette but NEVER told me that side was out and put a bag of potato chips in there! I am allergic to potato chips...?
At least tell me you don't have the baguette, I would've asked for an apple.
Likewise, no spoon for my mac n cheese and no napkins. I was heated cause I just had a 13 hour day and just wanted to eat something quick but had to go inside to fix everything. When I got home, realized my half of a turkey sandwich had the wrong bread and no mayo like I asked.
I'm fine with things being out but at least tell me before you just substitute for whatever is convenient to you... also, don't charge me for something I am not getting.
I am super disappointed because Panera is one of my favorite places to go for food but this store is an absolute joke.
I never post bad reviews and neve rude to customer service employees (still was cordial when speaking to the manager) but honestly, stay away from this store. The first time I went I had problems, as well. Just seems like a waste of time. Always check your bag before you leave for your destination. You might get an...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIāve tried this location twice now and it will not be a third. Not sure if itās only this location or Panera in general that isnāt great.
First time I ordered a sandwich to go and the contents were outside the sandwich and even if the sandwich was supposed to be cold, it was colder than in a fridge. I complained to their customer service and received a complementary sandwich which was nice (I guess money back would have been better). I decided to give them a new chance and get another sandwich but this time was even worse!
We ordered 2 sandwiches and a bear claw for pick up. Both of us added a few items but they didnāt add them. My husbands steak and white cheddar sandwich came without the cheddar (really!?) and we didnāt get the arugula or tomatoes that we added. At least I think they were free...
We were supposed to pick up the order 12:42 3/8 and 12:50 my husband ask about the status and they said they didnāt have the bear claw (he was there in time an no one asked for him to tell him) and that he should go talk to the manager. He went to the manager and asked about our order and the she said that she would put an almond croissant in the bag instead since they āseemed to be out of bear clawsā. My husband pointed on the bear claws next to them and asked āisnāt this one?ā and the manger said āoh, I guess we had oneā.
This location is 5 miles away from us and since we had to wait for 15 more minutes before we had our order ready it was no way it was even slightly warm (the sandwiches were ready but they could āfindā the pastry and they wrapped them poorly) when we got home and we just felt angry and disappointed and this was the last visit. There are so many better restaurants in the area and thatās closer so why support a place that canāt make an order correct and just donāt appreciate...
