Pei Wei Asian Kitchen — Restaurant in Frisco

First off I placed my Order on line to pick up at 9:15 PM and when I got there they could not find my order even though I had a confirmation number. And I decided to check my E Mail and the E Mail said there was an issue with the order. The manager said it happened all of the time. They are no longer part of PF Changs and you can tell it. I ordered 2 orders of chicken lettuce wraps but they were out of lettuce. The young manager tried to calm the Customers and the food was horrible. I ordered extra steak on two orders of ginger broccoli I told the manager that there was not double steak on the order and she said something to one of the cooks but he said they did put extra steak but they did not, and I am not sure he even knew what she was saying, the two orders of orange chicken had no sauce and the 2 orders of chicken fried rice had almost no chicken and no veggies in one order, the 2 orders of dan dan noodles did not taste good at all. The kitchen workers were standing on top of the stove to clean the grease trap filters over the food while the cooks were still cooking and they use the utensil from The Cook's hand to slide over a grease trap and then stuck that utensil back into the food the customers whose food they were cooking made them throw it out and start over. I have tried repeatedly to call and speak to a manager but have yet to get a manager on the phone or anyone even answer the phone. I have Frozen four or five of the orders that I purchased that evening and I plan on taking them back and giving them to the manager I want my money back and I will never go back to that location which I have been going to since the day they opened. Tried Pei Wei in Frisco off the Tollway & Main, avoid at all costs! you will only be disappointed.

Their website for on line ordering leaves a lot to be desired. The account set-up is very buggy.

I fight thru that process get my ordered placed and it says 17 mins till it is ready. Perfect! Woohoo!

Get to the restaurant in 22-23 mins. Only 1 register is working for walk-in and carry-out. So not the easy breezy pick up process I had hoped for .

3 out of 4 registers down.

After waiting about 10 mins I can finally ask for my order. They check on it and tell it is going to be another 10-15 minuets. Are you kidding me!?!? "Sorry for the inconvenience, and we offer you a complimentary desert?" Yes!

You make it very hard to want to come back for a few years. If it is going to be 30 or 40 mins, then say so when I place my order on line!

After 50 minuets you tell me my order is "ready", expect you are out of egg rolls???? "We can sub spring rolls, it will only take 2 minutes." Well after over 12 minutes i finally get spring rolls so I can leave over an hour after I made the on line order.

We will not be back to any PW for a long time, like never.

Get home and our gluten free meal that was supposed to have grilled chicken in it had fried! Kind of defeats the whole purpose of GF!

And to add salt to the wound, our chicken lettuce wraps only had the lettuce leaves and no chicken mixture for it!!!

Oh and the comp'd desert, forgotten about. just empty lip service. You offer me a comp and then don't include it?

Your “Contact Us” is way too short to explain all the ways you screwed...

UPDATE: Gave it another try since I had an offer for a free entree. Today's mess (General Tso's chicken) was drenched in sauce. After eating the 6 paltry pieces of chicken, I was left with a bowl of sauce with rice bits in it. Well, it was free! Really disgusting. Do yourself a favor if you're thinking of eating here. Go through the reviews and look at review after review that blast this place. Yet, no one is listening.

Original review: Yeah, have to agree and sum up a lot of the other reviews... This is the most inconsistent place I've ever seen. You can order the same meal 4 days in a row and it'll be cooked different every time. Not bad mind you, but just prepared differently. I've literally been complaining about the 2 "Coke Freestyle" soda machines for 6-8 months to the manager who tells me they just ran out of something. Meanwhile every time I'm there it seems like they're out of several different drinks. Place can be dirty at times and they screw you on the takeout orders.
