I recently dined at Mooyah, and I had a satisfying experience worth sharing. First and foremost, Mooyah is a burger-focused restaurant, and I must say their burgers are quite impressive. The menu offers a range of burger options, including customizable ones where you can choose your toppings and sauces. The quality of the beef patties is notably good, and they offer alternatives like turkey and veggie burgers for those with different preferences. One of the standout features at Mooyah is their commitment to using fresh ingredients. The vegetables were crisp, and the buns were soft and delicious. They also offer a variety of cheese options to elevate the burger experience. The fries at Mooyah deserve a special mention. They're hand-cut and come in different styles, including regular, sweet potato, and even a combination of both. The fries are perfectly seasoned, crispy on the outside, and tender on the inside. Another plus point for Mooyah is the friendly and efficient service. The staff was welcoming, and my order was prepared promptly. The atmosphere in the restaurant was relaxed and family-friendly, making it a great spot for casual dining. Additionally, Mooyah offers various milkshakes and beverages to complement your meal. The milkshakes are thick, flavorful, and a delightful way to cool down after enjoying a burger and fries. One potential downside could be the limited menu diversity compared to some other burger joints, but if you're in the mood for a classic burger experience, Mooyah does it exceptionally well. In summary, Mooyah is a solid choice for burger lovers. Their commitment to quality ingredients, delicious burgers, fantastic fries, and friendly service make it a great spot for a satisfying and indulgent meal. Whether you're dining in or taking out, Mooyah offers a memorable burger experience.

UPDATE Dec 2023: We came back for another freebie; one burger for winning best burgers in DFW. Last yr they were very generous and we got two. But one is OK. We have eaten at other locations in the last year and lots of the competition in Collin county. Tough market. And we got a free cookie due to prior review see photo. UPDATE Jan 2023: Back for a loyalty club discount and great burgers and sweet potato fries. Not much to write about except you are missing out on good food. Can you spot the discounted burger? Join the loyalty club to find out which one. UPDATE Dec 2022: We came back for a free burger but got two. Sweet!. The chain is celebrating being considered best burger joint in DFW by Dallas Morning News. They were offering this one day a free burger but this store was very generous and gave us two. Yummy! We also asked for small order of sweet potato fries but got a bit more. They spoiled us. Dec 2020: OooRah! They finally got this location up and running in the last week or so. Our first visit to this location as several in Collin county have closed. See photos. Meal was served promptly and hot. Good burger and sweet potato fries. They can get their 5 start when they can put the iced out and skip the need to get a fresh cup on refills. All the usual virus precautions in place so its a safe place to eat.

We placed an order via the app, and were really looking forward to this place based on the reviews. I came in and went to the pickup area, there is a bag sitting there but they kept it to where nobody can see whose name was on it. I asked them if that was the order for me, the guy checked the screen and said that no mine is still being made. I waited for about 10 minutes, and the worker then decides to ask again what my name is (presumably because I was still waiting and I guess they finally realized they goofed) and tells me "my bad yours is right here" pointing to the very bag I asked about initially and now has been sitting there. The soggy burger and fries were just 'okay', nothing great. Probably won't be coming back, at least not to this location. I could have spent less than half the amount at McDonald's if I wanted soggy burgers and fries.

It is in the spirit of helping your company improve, that my wife and I write this review. The ending of the story is that after our FIRST visit to your restaurant, we will not be eating at Mooyah again. The cashier (Iveana) was very unfriendly, and had somewhat of an attitude. We could ignore the ear pods she had in, but we could not ignore her attitude. From being very non-communicative, to just tossing our plastic number on the counter, she was all attitude. Apparently the simple act of handing us the card was just too much. She failed to give us drink cups, so we ultimately asked the person who brought our food out. He seemed a little confused that we didn't have cups, but he went up front and brought them back to us right away. On a totally separate note, it's really hard to watch employees (the one referenced here included) stand around and/or laugh and kid around when the dining area could really use some cleaning. Again, maybe that's just a tad too much to ask. One possibly pertinent note; my wife and I are an interracial couple, so we've had this kind of treatment before. What set this one apart from almost all of the others, was the sheer lack of attempting to hide whatever disdain this person had for us. Coincidentally, my wife and I coach businesses on hiring the right personality type for the job they're filling. Since customer service/customer care is highly important to retaining customers and/or clients, the person or people up front are truly the first line of defense AND offense when it comes to representing the company. In this case, it was an epic fail, and we have a hard time watching a company lose customers for something so immature. In these times especially, every customer or client counts, and we have MANY places to choose from to spend our hard earned money. We value our hard earned income, and will spend it elsewhere. It's a shame we can't comment on the food, as the dinner was pretty much a bust after this incident! Final thought; my wife commented on the way home that eating out is not always about the food, but about the experience; and in this case, it was a horrible experience and a waste of...

The customer service in this place is horrible. I placed an on-line take out order, the phones are never answered, upon arriving I had to get off to go inside and get my curbside pick up. I was told my order was not ready to wait in my car. Once, we got home I notice items in my order where missing but shown in my receipt. I immediately attempted to contact the location, again no one ever answers the phones. After a week of unsuccessful attempts to contact the location, I decided to visit in person. Upon arrival, I asked to speak to a manager, I had a younger gentleman come up who refused to give me his name, stating he was the manager. He finally said his name was "BOB" clearly a lie in a sarcastic demeanor. After I explained to him regarding the missing items in my order he said, well I can't help you. There is nothing I can do, call the number on the email. The number on the email was the store number which I've been calling all week!!! He was rude, told me that he didn't know what I wanted him to do, that he couldn't do anything regarding my order. I then asked for corporates number which he replied "GOOGLE IT, I DON'T HAVE IT" then ignored me and moved on to taking an order. This is so much bigger than the missing items I paid for and never received, I was treated so poorly when the mistake was made on their end. I will be sure to NEVER order or visit this...
