Sent someone to pick up lunch today, they were outside of the door along with other patrons at opening time, however the door was locked. There was an individual walking around the restaurant that saw everyone standing outside, however just looked at everyone and walked to the back. As she was leaving she called the restaurant to find out if they would open soon, or why no one was opening the door, asked for a manager or superior and was told she did not know. In which we advised we would find out and ended the call. The owner then decided it was somehow professional to contact a customer directly by calling back asking if we would be contacting corporate of which he was advised we would, he stated “You just need to shut the “F” up and stay away from my store”. And hung up. It’s unfortunate to be sharing this type of IGNORANT experience of which is not the first here. I have lived in the area for over 6 years and if you live locally I would encourage you to patronize other pizza locations. Typically in the past when I would stop here, the customer service is always less than stellar, and the food following suit. I’ve never complained or reported, just stopped going and went to Blaze, etc. This is very disheartening as I sent someone else to this restaurant to pick up lunch and this was the experience. Please take your business elsewhere. I know this brand is franchised and you are at the mercy of the owner with situations like that. So it isn’t a knock against the brand, if you can find another location then support them totally. This one has been over here for years and apparently just doesn’t...
Read moreI wrote a review to corporate a few weeks ago, but have yet to hear back so I'm leaving my thoughts here. And I never leave reviews, so the fact that I am should tell you how bad my experience was.
The pizza was decent, but the customer service was atrocious. Employees didn't know how to make either pizza me or my girlfriend ordered. Then, among other things, one employee walked out from the back, shoving a piece of pizza into his mouth while he walked up to start making pizza again. He put on gloves, but still, I don't want to see your hands all over your mouth and then watch you immediately dig in to all the ingredients you're putting on my pizza.
All of that would have been ok and I wouldn't have written a review, HOWEVER, what happened next is unacceptable in any establishment. Both my and my girlfriend's pizza was out of the oven, sitting on the counter while I waited more than 10 minutes just to pay. Not one employee seemed concerned that I was waiting at the register. By the time someone finally came to take my payment, our pizzas were cold and a line had formed behind me. One customer even walked off without paying! I've had shorter waits at the DMV.
This was my first time visiting a PieFive and I will definitely...
Read moreIf you visit on a Monday and want the $5.55 deal, be sure to review your receipt. I paid $7.49 for ours because I didn't check, even though the store is plastered in marketing that says they are on sale all day Monday. Keeping my orig review but adjusting the rating.
All of the options can be rather confusing, but the staff was very helpful and friendly. This is similar to a Freebirds/Chipotle where you just pick your toppings - I appreciate that you don't pay "per topping" here. I had the Farmer's Market - no tomatoes (yuck) add black olives and artichoke. I was very pleased, it was amazing. Kids shared a cheese and corn pizza (why? because they can. That's why.) Wife had a buffalo chicken pizza. I didn't try it, but she says it was good. We shared a brownie slice for dessert. It was extremely rich, but I expected nothing less. The staff was amazing, attentive, and very helpful. We got our order extremely fast. They have indoor and outdoor seating. We say outside - it was warm, but a nice breeze kept it manageable. This was my first time here, and I wish I'd been sooner. This is a great place to grab a quick (and excellent) meal...
