I absolutely hate to leave a negative review because I’m such a positive and upbeat person BUT This was the worst customer service I have ever received in my life! We went on a Wednesday night and when we got there we went downstairs with our four children so we could go eat in the game room and be close to everything. It took somebody forever to come and Take our drink order. I ordered everyone at the table their drinks and I ordered myself a Michelada and some pizza rolls. Everyone got their drinks in a timely manner but of course since I got an alcoholic beverage it took longer. Or so I thought, 10 minutes rolls by and my two-year-olds ears were becoming very sensitive because he has tubes in them, so we decide to go upstairs and eat in the family dining center. I let our waiter know that I have still not received my beer but it was no big deal so we are going to go ahead and head upstairs because of my little boys ears. We get upstairs and there is seriously five tables that are in the family dining area. Two of them were a couple of big groups for birthday parties and then the other three were just small booths. There were three waiters in this area. The manager sat us at our table and notified the new waiter that we were up there. I saw them, locked eye contact with them and noticed that he was passing us off to our waiter. Just like a normal hand off should be handled. We then sat there for another 25 minutes and received zero service at all. I proceeded to go to the bar where there were two people there and I stood there for a good three minutes before the bartender even greeted me. He came over to me and said “what’s up” I said “ I need help please” he replied... “So do I”... I shrugged it off and laughed him because I figured he was joking around. He was not, I began to tell him everything that we’ve experienced and told him that the manager even passed us at our waiter and our waiter hasn’t come around can he help me get my ticket so we can leave. He point-blank looked me in the eyes and told me “there’s nothing I can do for you, you need to go get the manager and let him help you because I don’t know what you want me to do about it”... Shockingly I turned around and said very loudly to my husband “we are getting the hell out of here “. This is way out of the norm for me because I am a very calm and patient person especially for waiters and waitresses because I have been in their position before. This customer service was rude and absolutely horrible! We let the manager know what was going on, he comped our food and we will never go back again! Sad thing is, that was the number one place that my two older kids really wanted to go. Customer service is not what it used to be anymore and I absolutely...
Read moreThis is going to be long, fair warning. I have been coming to this location over the past 20+ years, so I am going to be completely honest. This place isn't a shadow of its former self and after tonight's visit I wont be going back, and I encourage everyone else to spend their time and money elsewhere. Food: The menu has been simplified to include pretty much nothing that would make the price of said food items even remotely worth it. A basic cheeseburger (asked for well done, got burnt) with fries for $11.50?!?! And that's one of the cheapest food options, it's just ridiculous. Not to mention the snail's pace that the waitress was at tonight. I understand things slow down when its busy, but it was not busy tonight at all. There were 4-5 other tables seated already in the area when my party of 4 got there, and 3 waiters working the area. It should not have taken 20+ minutes and repeated requests to get drinks and have one of the tv's changed to the hockey game. Games: This place has changed so much over the years, and not for the better. Most of the actual arcade games have been replaced with larger versions of phone app games and VR. If that appeals to you, the good on you and have fun. But keep all belongings and especially tokens/tickets on your person at all times, lest they be stolen, as happened to me tonight. I spent the night, with my family and a couple $100, playing one of the few games left that give out tokens and collector cards that you combine to get tickets with. Had one of the provided little buckets full and ready to go collect the tickets for, when I bent down to get the cards/tokens I had just won, and looked up to find that someone had swiped my basket. I wont go into all the details that happened after here, (this review is long enough) suffice it to say that I did not get my tokens/cards or any of the money I had spent tonight back (nor was any recompense offered). The floor manger tonight was less than useless, his remarks boiled down to they (D&B) didn't have cameras covering the whole game floor and not his problem. Really soured the already lukewarm mood I had for this place. I will not be going back/spending any more money here. TLDR: too expensive for subpar food and subpar games. 0/10 do NOT recommend. There are much better was to spend your time and money, don't waste...
Read moreMy son and I came in for his 16th birthday, exterior entrance, there was construction going on, we were looked at by several people, greeted by none. We walked through the upper level until I heard the sounds of the arcade, still not greeted or asked if we wanted a seat or instructions to seat ourselves, following the sound we found the escalator and went to the arcade level. The restaurant/arcade were both not busy at all, only a handful of other patrons. So, not wanting to skip anyone's seating section and also to let someone know that we needed service, my son and I stood at the bar for about 5 min. The bartender was working with another customer across the bar as well as tending the service bar. After he finished, and came over to us, I asked what we should do. We wanted to eat, drink and play and there was no clear place to get this started. No "Please Seat Yourself" signs and not one employee initiated with us. All of that out of the way, the food was good, although there should be a buzzer system of some sort to let the game players that food has arrived at the table. The bartender said he "looked everywhere for us" but we were both either walking to, inside of The Walking Dead game, or walking back to our booth from it. I can only imagine how difficult that would be on a single server if there were several tables to serve. The VR experience was very cool, but I had to wipe makeup foundation off of both my son and my face after the first ride... is there no sanitation routine for the headsets? I was not over the moon with our day, as a former employee of D&B I was actually kind of shocked... And even though my son had a wonderful time, we will NOT go back to this location. The employees are doing the best they can, but it's obvious that Management now overlooks the little things that aid in someone's FIRST experience at a particular location. Although, I guess since it's basically a mall location, they don't have the same pressures to ensure a great customer experience from the moment they walk through the door as the 75 Central...
