Gong Cha Frisco — Restaurant in Frisco

I've been signed up for Gong cha rewards for a while now. I received a text message saying I had a buy one get one free drink at Gong Cha (specifically the Frisco, TX location). I went out of my way to travel to this Gong cha because we had the Buy One Get One (BOGO) Free deal. I ordered two drinks; however, the worker that day (February 26, 2021 at 6pm CT) said she would not honor the BOGO deal. She said the deal did not exist. I showed my phone that had the coupon that specifically said BOGO at Gong Cha but she said she would not give it. I did not understand why, as the coupon did not expire and I was in the correct location. But no matter what, she would not honor the BOGO deal. Initially she said she would give me $1 off instead, but eventually, she took away that deal as well. I asked if I could speak to her manager, as I was confident the coupon would work, but she would not let me speak to the manager either. After that, I asked for her name as I was very upset that she was not honoring the BOGO deal or letting me speak to the manager, but she refused to give it. She then said there was nothing she could do or even give her name. She even refused to let me put my number into the keypad to look up my rewards. To me, the value wasn't that much. It was the principle of the store worker not honoring the BOGO deal and not letting me speak to the manager. I left the store very upset and at this point, will never go back to Gong Cha. This worker needs to be reprimanded for her terrible customer service and her inability to honor...

OMG. I ordered a GREEN TEA strawberry and they mixed JASMINE tea instead!!! Drinks here are not only more expensive, but they cheat you out of product when you ask for no ice. The staff argue with customers that the managers have instructed them to remove product when ordering drinks with no ice. This is CHEATING the customers. So I was thinking the green tea strawberry drink is AWFUL because the green tea is so bitter, meaning it is not fresh and there is no strawberry flavor, but it’s not even the right tea!!! The boba is also not fresh. It’s hard to chew and tastes days old. The mango drink has also been watered down when asking for less sugar. So they ultimately have bad practices like cheating customers out of product, watering drinks down when asking for less sugar, and giving inferior boba that is old. We paid close to $16 for two drinks that were just absolutely the worst. A VERY disappointing experience with ZERO value. We will NEVER return.

I used to think this Gong Cha was a good location. Boy has this changed. DO NOT go here. Customer service is terrible.
