Since this establishment has opened I have spent a fair amount of money there. For the most part aside from getting verbally molested the instance you walk through the door with the absolute worst question any sales or service person can ask....."Can I help you?" I have found the cakes to be decent, moist and tasty.....and for the most part their price are less than I think one would expect to pay when compared to other cake/cupcake type of bakeries. The true test of any business in terms of customer service and retention of their customers is the ability of that business to not only maintain a great product from the onset, but to continue to provide exceptional customer service consistently. Great customer service can make up for shortcomings in product. So many businesses have come out of the gate with a head of steam only to falter with some form of breakdown in the basic customer or product experience. As a resident of Frisco for over 12 years it is my hope that attitude and ego/snobbery don't become prevalent in businesses in our fair town, as it continues it's stunning growth rate. So, having said this.....I walked into the store yesterday in Frisco, and was quickly greeted with a loud, obnoxious "Can I help you?". I ordered, and a few of the ladies behind the counter commented that I was a "regular" customer. I asked one lady if I could use their bathroom. She looked at another woman and said...."Do we have a bathroom?" The other younger lady replied......"No, I am sorry we don't have a bathroom." For a minute I felt like I was back in NYC, not Frisco, Texas. Then....to add insult to injury...the original woman who I had asked looks at me and said...."You know, I bet the hair salon has a bathroom you can use." I looked at her, shook my head and uttered...."I am NOT a customer of the hair salon." Then I added...."you know, I think I have changed my mind, no cake for me....thank you and good luck." With this small bit of attitude, Nothing Bundt Cake in Frisco...you have lost a...
Read moreIf I could choose NO starts- I would!!!! Absolutely THE worst service I've ever had. The girls were SO rude. It wasn't busy when I walked in the store to place my order for my daughters birthday party favors, and my daughter had to use the restroom (almost 3yes old) If you're a parent, you know this is crucial! I could see that there wasn't a public restroom but asked if we could kindly use theirs for her. The girl who was young, flippent and acted as if I was bothering her, said "no, we don't have public restrooms" I said what's the closest one would you say, she said "Walgreens down the road!" I looked at her perplexed and said, "where do you go?" She said, "well we have one you just can't use it." Unreal!! I said, "not even for a three year old?" Clearly she was not concerned to help me as I was about to place a large order and she couldn't let my little girl take a minute to use the restroom- I was shocked!! I've done this time and time again and everyone has always been kind and HUMAN!!! About it. I will not be placing my order- or my annual business convention or favor orders for my event planning service through this store, or any other Nothing Bunt Cakes, EVER. I am floored, disappointed in today's young people and customer service of this company. Guess I'll be going to Chick Fil A for everything I need, personally and professionally since they TRAIN their employees on how to be kind...
Read moreMy wife and I frequent Nothing Bundt Cakes and appreciate their variety and seasonal items. Unfortunately we went in this past week and purchased a lemon cake and a marble cake with extra icing (super healthy :)). Later that evening we started eating them and noticed that something was off. Not sure if they were a little bit stale or if something was off in the mixture, but the taste was bad. No big deal, everyone has bad days. However, when I contacted them and explained the situation, the young lady on the phone was not apologetic, or helpful, or even offered to allow us to come in and get replacements. I was taken aback at their lack of compassion and willingness to make sure we had a positive experience. After realizing that the young lady I was speaking to really could care less about our experience, I asked to speak to a manager. I was told that she was unavailable but they would give her my name and number and I would be contacted very shortly. It has now been over 24 hours and there was no follow up. It’s a shame that this experience left us with such a bad taste in our mouth, no pun intended. Sadly, this will most likely be our last trip to this establishment. Be careful when beginning to enjoy their treats. And if something is off, do not expect to be compensated, or at the very least have the opportunity for them to...
