Let me start off by saying this is a family run business, and they are the nicest people that provide exceptional customer service. The mother seasons the food, while the father and son assist customers with the menu and placing orders. They explained the menu to me thoroughly and gave suggestions. They were very patient as well.
We tried the Pop Nuggets Curry Coconut Fried Rice (R6), spicy wontons (N5), and Mapo Tofu Omurice (R7). They were all delicious. Each dish was delicious and seasoned very well. Each portion was so large. The price is definitely worth it. The pop nuggets are like popcorn chicken. Large pieces of chicken thigh cooked perfectly - crunchy and paired nicely with the curry rice. The spicy wontons were good, but if I had to give it a suggestion, I wish it had a little more meat. The pop nuggets went really well with the spicy wonton sauce. I have never had Mapo Tofu before, so I cannot comment much, but it was yummy enough to get it again!
Next time I come here, I look forward to trying the noodle dishes.

Read moreThe name perfectly fits the description. Real. Everything about this restaurant is real, authentic, and genuine. It’s an amazing family owned restaurant. The food is phenomenal. We came today and some of my group didn’t fully understand the menu. The owner took the time to introduce the menu to us and it was incredibly helpful. Everything looked and sounded delicious and the service was great, you could tell that they were real and genuine people who had a real passion for their food. And that definitely reflected in the fantastic food. The sesame chicken was the BEST we’ve ever tried in our entire lives, I’d go so far as to say it might even be the best in the country. I’m willing to stand by that statement too. The noodles were excellent, the broth was great it was definitely comfort food. This was definitely the type of service that creates regulars. We plan to come back and try everything on the menu over time. I highly and definitely recommend anyone who has a passion for great food try...
Read moreI LOVE this place! Plano has quite a few Taiwanese restaurants (Wu Wei Din, Bull Daddy), but this one is special and different.
They have your classic noodle soup, but a ton of other menu items that are less common to find in the metroplex. My favorites so far are the radish cakes, blood rice cakes, and the mapo tofu omurice.
Mapo tofu is one of my favorite comfort foods and theirs is one of the best I’ve had. Savory and a great mala flavor. More mala than heat.
The man that runs it and his family are all very sweet and will answer any questions and guide you through the menu based on your preferred tastes. If you are new and foreign to Taiwanese cuisine, don’t be intimidated. They have items to fit any palate, even the pickiest.
I really hope they succeed. I’d love everyone to give it a try. Hopefully they can eventually move into a brick and mortar. It definitely fulfills a needed niche in the...
