Anthony's Pizza — Restaurant in Front Royal

If it were possible to rate this restaurant zero stars I would. I’ve never personally ordered their “food” but I have tried it before at a friends house and it was TERRIBLE! The event today solidified the fact that I will never order from this restaurant and will urge my friends and family to order from elsewhere if they are thinking of ordering from here. While I was working today my non English speaking house guests answered the door and accepted an order from Anthony’s thinking I had ordered them lunch. The address on the receipt matched mine so they signed and immediately called me to make sure I had ordered. I told them no and that I would call the number on the receipt to let the woman know we had received her order by accident. She said she would contact the restaurant. A few minutes later she called me back and said that Anthony’s wouldn’t refund the charge for the food she DIDNT RECEIVE because it had been signed for. Anthony’s reached out to me as well seeking payment for an order that was delivered to my house by THEIR mistake. When I expressed that I didn’t feel I or the person who ordered the food should be responsible for paying for THEIR mistake they threatened to call the police over a $35 order. In the end I paid the $35 to get the poor woman who ordered off the hook and now I’m left with a pile of garbage food no one wants to eat. Way to go Anthony’s pizza. Your management is terrible and instead of just copping up to the mistake you ruined two separate...

Before today I probably would have given this place four stars, easy! But after the extremely unprofessional encounter my husband and I had today (with the owner no less) we will definitely not be loyal customer's any longer. After paying over $30 for a large pepperoni pizza, 1 order of mozzarella sticks and 2 fountain drinks..... 🤨 we were chased down in the parking lot because the girl who took our order misspoke and didn't charge us for the bottled soda my husband had gotten. Even after I brought it to her attention she told me " it's okay, don't worry about it." I asked "are you sure?" and she responded "it's fine." I smiled said "thank you", and didn't think another thing about it. We sat at a table for about 15-20 minutes waiting on our food, with the soda sitting in plain sight in the middle of the table. It was clear that we weren't hiding anything and had no idea there was even an issue. But instead of coming up to us calming and asking about the soda we were chased down and assaulted with verbal insults and accusations...😵 In stead of harassing and patronizing loyal paying customers, the owner should take a business management course so he can train his staff (and himself) and show everyone the proper way to run a restaurant and treat patrons so that this does not...

My husband called and ordered a large chesse pizza and a 12inch steak and chesse sub meal they said 20 mins ok so about 25 mins later I show up the parking lot is packed had to park behind other people to go in then after I pay they say oh its not ready yet they'll call you when it's done i stood there for 20 mins on a chesse pizza because the sub meal was done when I got there I waited all that time for the pizza while my 2 kids are with me i understand Thursday is a busy day for them but they put a chesse pizza up on the warmer behind them and it sat there for 15 mins they never put it in a box people that were coming in behind me and ordering there were getting their food before I did what was the point in calling it in? At least the pizza was hot can't really say the same for the frys and sub tho and Noone said sorry for your wait...
