Batteries Plus Phone Repair — Local services in Norton Shores

I called Batteries plus on June 9th 2022 and talked to salesperson Taylor and asked if they repaired cell phones. Taylor asked what my problem was with the phone and I explained that the back was pulling away from the phone. He explained to me that it sounded like the battery has swollen and we should bring in the phone as soon as possible so they could verify what was going on for sure. He said if it was the battery it could be very dangerous and again said please bring your phone in as soon as possible. He was so kind and thorough and was so polite. He said he was there until 4pm and to ask for him when we came in. When we' got there we asked for him and he proceeded in checking the phone out and determined in fact it was the battery. He said we would have to leave the phone for 2 to 3 hours for the repair so we did. He explained to us that it is important to fully charge the phone as well as after fully charged to let the battery to totally discharge and not to leave a phone on a charger for better battery life. Just want everyone to know that from the phone call to the start and completion of the repair that this young man Taylor was very helpful, respectful. knowledgeable, kind and made us feel very confident. My new screen looks great! However, my iPad has been glitchy and not always working correctly now. For example, the home button won’t connect right away; it stalls. Will be bringing it back to have the staff look at it if I don’t notice a difference soon. I am hopeful they will do what they can to right the situation. I have only had the phone on and in use for about 10 minutes of the last hour, after screen replacement. At this point every thing seems to be working great. I will know more in the coming days.
