Chapter 4 At Les Amis — Restaurant in Fullerton

Came here for my birthday, I love Mediterranean food and wanted to go to Carousel in Glendale but decided I did not want to drive to Glendale on a Friday evening, found this gem via Yelp and I loved it!! Parking is tough we had to circle the block several times, finally found a spot on the street. They have plenty of outdoor seating very cute, however the inside was so charming, loved the lighting and decor, lots of hanging warm lighted lanterns, eclectic furniture that just looked romantic. They had soft music playing in the background, easy to carry a conversation. We ordered their appetizer platter which had these amazing potato balls that were absolutely delicious. All of our food was fantastic, great service. The kind of place you can spend a long evening grazing on appetizers and some good drinks. I actually stumbled upon Chapter 4 Whiskey lounge on accident. ( A week before the grand opening on Jan. 22nd) I'm glad I did. The type of speakeasy-ish vibe and a dope spot to just lounge around have a chill night in DTF. Place is cozy, with capacity for about 30-40 people , i would say at most. (But it is also attached to Les Amis).

There is a great assortment of whisky's, bourbons and Scotches. And if you so choose, lockers can be secured to store your own personal liquor (purchased from Chapter 4 of course). Nonetheless, the bottle will be available whenever you choose to return.

If you get a chance to meet Eduard, he was the bartender for the night and actually hooked us up with a smoked Old Fashion cocktail. Also, shout out to Brit (social media manager) he welcomed us with open arms.

Found this place by visiting their restaurant, Les Amis, which I also highly recommend. Don’t expect an “epic” bar with a hundreds of whiskey’s from around the world. This is what I call a boutique whiskey bar with a thoughtful and discerning selection. The bartender, Austin, is a very professional and friendly guy. He knows when to check in on you, is very attentive and friendly.

This is a very cozy and relaxing place. I live in the Bay Area, but if I lived down in So Cal, I would rent one of their members lockers and be sipping whiskey every week. I will be visiting this place each...
