**After a disappointing visit last nightI have to make some updates. First off, you really should update your website menu to match what you are currently serving, especially since changes were made at least a month ago. We love this place, but the new menu changes will definitely keep us from visiting as often. There really is no longer a substantial vegan option such as the impossible burger since they no longer offer it. They took off the adult grilled cheese, which for my birthday girl last night was heartbreaking. The lobster sliders are MEH at best. Bulgogi tots pretty salty.I will still say the Brussel sprouts are delish , I do love the larger shrimp in the fried rice, and the regular drive thru burger is a solid deal. All this being said, I'm overall disappointed that several favorites are gone, and it will definitely affect our choices. Also, brunch is NOT served all day as advertised. Thank goodness for our AMAZING server last night..she alone salvaged the night
Love this place and we don't come here enough!! The patio is the best in town. It transports you out of DTF. The service is always top-notch. They do close early and some days are closed period so always check their hours! Now to the good stuff. The food and drinks. My favorite is the fried rice with pork belly and shrimp. It's so delicious. The perfect amount of spice. I like it with a fried egg added (though last time they forgot, it came out 5 min late AND yolk was not runny) I chalk that up as the only mistake they have ever made here so forgivable. Other food items that are amazing are the burger (husband adds Serrano chiles to it and it's HOT), and the tots! You can't go wrong with tots! Fish and chips, brussel sprouts, and SHORT RIB PHILLY (OMG). Drinks include local beers and my favorite agua caliente (but be aware they use serranos and this can be too hot sometimes), cucumber mule is always good, sangria, and I had a root beer drink that was fabulous! All in all this is a great place for food and drinks. I highly recommend...
Read moreThis place is superb! On a weekday around noon, my wife and I randomly popped in on a whim. This place happened to be the only bar in the area showing English Premier League soccer via Peacock subscription.
Once inside, and nestled at the bar with the super-friendly members of staff (04/26) who were guiding some of our choices, we tried a variety of delightful (monthly only?) selections from the food menu. Long after the final whistle had blown in my game, we had enjoyed the gorgeous duck sliders and garlic shrimp nachos - and I had devoured an enormous piece of chocolate banana bread topped with a very generous helping of ice cream and caramel sauce. The very fine threads which usually hold my diet together had been eliminated completely by a combination:
Luckily, and balancing that overwhelming negativity beaming in via the television, there were so many positive things to take away!
It would be unkind to give less than 5 stars simply because the result across the Atlantic didn't go my way: so, 1 star given for each goal scored by both teams in the 4-1 defeat seems like justice! Pour Company is a rare place indeed: coming with that rare trifecta of high quality food/drink, exemplary and friendly service, and a completely chilled-out and unpretentious atmosphere. It's to the credit of everyone working here, and I hope to be back...although it won't be to...
Read moreI wish I could give no stars. Started off with unlimited Mimosas for fathers day only to be informed that there is a 90 minute max and that local ordinance states that they can only serve 1 every 8 minutes. There is no such local ordinance. And in 90 minutes that equates to 11 total, far from unlimited. It gets better, the bartender thought it was cool to get into a pissing contest with my son who tried to get another drink after his alarm went off telling him that 8 minutes elapsed. Whatever happened to the customer is always right within reason. His customer service skills were atrocious. After I asked him to stop because he was ruining Father's Day, he proceeded to go to the next table and converse with the other patrons and staring back at our table, making for a real uncomfortable experience. Definitely a classless move, and what's worse, when I asked to speak to the manager he claimed to be the manager. If he was, I have never dealt with more unprofessional manager than him, we tipped our waitress for what service she did provide, and left without eating. We went to JP23 around the corner and were treated like family. If you are looking for brunch with bottomless mimosas, we recommend Saddle Ranch at the block. The bartenders are way cool and take care of you real good. Shame on you...
