Teriyaki Express Fullerton — Restaurant in Fullerton

I've been a regular at Teriyaki Express in Fullerton, CA, for a while now, and I must say it's one of my go-to spots for a quick sushi bite. Don't be fooled by its fast food ambiance; the quality of the meals here is always top-notch. I've yet to experience a disappointing meal here and that, in itself, is quite an accomplishment!

On this particular visit, I ordered the Dragon Roll. As with my previous experiences, the staff was amiable and the service was brisk. The order was up in no time, and the portions were impressive, definitely providing a bang for your buck. The freshness of the ingredients was evident in every bite. The sushi was beautifully prepared, with each piece tasting as delicious as it looked. The balance of flavors and textures was just perfect, making every morsel enjoyable.

My only grief is that I don't live or work close enough to swing by more frequently. But whenever I'm in the area, I make it a point to stop by Teriyaki Express. It's a little gem in Fullerton that offers quality sushi that's quick, convenient, and oh-so-tasty!

So, if you find yourself in Fullerton with a sushi craving, do give Teriyaki Express a try. It might not have the ambiance of a traditional sushi restaurant, but it more than makes up for it with its quick service, friendly staff, and delicious food. Definitely...

What a hidden gem hole in a wall.

I'm glad I gave this place a try, even though it's hard to spot and kind of in a sketchy area, especially near what looks like a vape shop(?)

I ordered spicy California roll and the size/portion was great (not like those stingy places where they cut it so small like ayce portions). Very satisfied. But it was actually pretty spicy; I would have liked it a little milder but still good.

I also got the combo (chicken/beef) plate and it was good portions (but nothing beats in terms of massive portion/value as the place called Tikiyaki). I really liked the beef as it had this charboiled flavor.

The dressing was sesame which is one of my favorite dressings.

The prices obviously increased from the old photos that were available here, so I added a photo with current prices.

I would go back to this place again to try...

Probably the best bento box I ever had! For $15 the bento boxes are a steal! Not only are the portions incredibly generous, the food is absolutely delicious! It was so good I literally had to write a review right after! The only issue I had was that my food was a tad too salty from the tears of joy 😭 that were coming outta me while I was eating my food.. I live 25 miles away and I'm coming back asap just for this beautiful bento! Hands down recommend this to anyone! Bring a big appetite if now be ready to bring home leftovers 😆
