I'm really giving this zero stars but have to press a star to give a review. The young girl behind the counter with dark brown hair pulled up high in a pony tail, was so rude. After I was notified by email that my online order was ready for pick up, it wasn't ready. In fact not even made yet. So I was understanding thinking ok it's a Friday night, their just busy. So I waited an extra 20 minutes for my pizzas. The scene that shocked me was when afor mentioned girl in ponytail started slamming doors and snapping at PAYING customers. I told her she should get a customer service award for her "great service". I also told her she shouldn't be working around people if she was going to treat them like that. A teen boy then comes out and I ask him to get the manager. The pizza making guy, who I find out is also the owner. He also had dark hair and wore a black hat. I tell him the girl at the counter is extremely rude and needs to either take a break or be asked to leave. He then tells me "why are you doing this, there's no need to be talking out loud like that". He completely defended her and didn't care how she was treating PAYING CUSTOMERS. Isn't that you bread and butter? Don't you want it busy? I've read several other reviews within the last month about rude service and it sounds like the same young girl. This owner just doesn't get it. It's a shame because I work right down the road and it's convenient for me to pick up some pizzas for my family. But I will never spend my hard earned money there again. Read moreSo, my three stars is only in reference to seeing a worker working with food, and then taking said food and putting it in her mouth and then going back to working with the food again, WITHOUT washing her hands. Everyone who’s worked with food, takes a bite here or there, but it’s usually after having asked or stepped away from their counter and then they’ve taken the appropriate steps before returning to the food. This young lady clearly knows nothing about food borne illness and that people can get very sick from what she just did. When I brought it to the managers attention, she looked right at me, and at the age of 49, I kept looking right at her. Her coworker taking my order asked what could happen with someone if they got sick and having worked in medical for over 25 years, depending upon a persons immune system, what that girl just did could cause people to become very sick and even to pass away, should their systems already be immunocompromised. (Having worked in hospitals, I’ve seen many cases in the ER and at previous doctors offices of patients who became seriously ill from a workers decision not to wash their hands before working with food again. Please be wary of this location or at least order in person and watch as it’s made.
The manager and the young girl at checkout were great and the manager took action right away. The girl in question appeared to be under 20 and just needs to be retrained on proper etiquette while handling food. Read morePlaced an online order at 11:45 I received an email confirmation saying it would be ready between 12:05 and 12:11.
I arrived a few minutes early approximately 12:00 and was told it would be up in 5 minutes.
30 minutes later I was still told about 5 minutes.
Finally a young woman comes to the counter and presents me with two cold pizzas and boxes felt wet.
I asked why it wasn't in the pizza portal to keep it warm and reduce contact she advised it wasn't worked NC.
I told her I was waiting for cold pizza and she never really apologized for trying to unloaded old pizzas one but said she could prepare new ones.
Shortly after I see an EMT come in and retrieve his pizza from the portal.
Disgusted with the lie That the portal wasn't working but but clearly it was I requested a refund. The young woman really didn't seem to care she said the refund would be put back on my card in three days handed me a receipt and walked away.
The woman I dealt with mever really apologized or took accountability for anything.
I won't be back. I only eat here because my kids request it from time to time.
Don't expect me to spend good money on poor service and cold pizza.
Went immediately to Chick-fil-A.
And if you're reading this with corporate don't waste my time trying to reach out my mind is made up.
Clearly this store us poorly run as I saw several others walk out while I was there.
Not a good sign when customers sit and swap horror stories about your location while waiting...
