I have heard good things about this place, so I hoped for a unique experience. I guess we can say it was unique, but not in a good way. We came in for lunch. The lady working there was rude. When she asked what drinks we wanted, we said the perfectly normal response of water. She then said under her breath "whatever suits yourself". Ok we let that pass, must not be a good day for her or something. When we were done, about 10 minutes later, we walked up to the front to pay. She said with a attitude "you guys are fast". I can deal with people being rude, it's not a big deal. But what happened next was the last straw. So me and my girlfriend ordered 2 buffet meals. On the website it says that they are $5.69 each coming in for a total of $11.38 before tax. Even with tax included, $1-2, it should be like $13. We paid I believe $15.13. So either she added her own tip on top of the total without asking us, or the prices are way off on the website. We didn't get a receipt. Next let's talk about the food. The salad lettuce was old and looked like it had been chopped a few days ago and sat there. The pizza was dry, and the slices were very small. Like 2in crust wise and 5in long. On the website it advertised that there would be all you can eat pasta there also. None to be seen.
Store looked clean, but that is the only positive thing I can say for them.
I do not recommend Milano Pizza. Go get some little Caesars if you are interested for the price or J & S New York Pizza if you interested for the buffet. Both are much better...
Read moreI used to come to Milano's with my best friend several years back. The other day, I decided to check it out for old times sake and I really wish hadn't. Veggies on the salad bar were wilted, flies were buzzing around everywhere, it looked like the dining room hadn't been cleaned since I last visited - over 10 years ago. I didn't dare go to the restroom. I really wanted to enjoy it, because the people working there seemed nice enough (kinda quiet, but nice nonetheless) but I just couldn't get past how dirty it seemed. I wish they would clean the place up, get rid of all the random clutter (looks like someone lives in the dining room), take care of the landscaping and just take a little pride in their restaurant. Broke my heart because I had such great memories of this place in it's glory days.
Other random musings... I was the only person in the dining room at prime dinner time (6pm) Some other people walked in and then did what I wish I had done - walked right back out The food wasn't half bad...I'd give it a 3/5 stars - pretty standard for a pizza buffet If you do decide to go here, maybe call ahead and order take-out There was one dude that walked in right as I was leaving and he was watching movies on his tablet as he ate...so if you want a quiet (almost eerily quiet) place to go eat and basically do whatever the heck you want,...
Read moreMy boyfriend and I drive past this restaurant quite a lot. Today we decided to give it a try, and we were no where near as pleased as we thought we would be. The lady who seated us was extremely unprofessional, and rude. She had no manners, and she wasn't very friendly. As we ate, we weren't very satisfied with the quality of the food here. She asked us what we would like for drinks, and we asked for water. She said, "whatever, suit yourself". The pizza was very small, and the salad was old. I was actually scared to get some dressing for my salad because it looked like it had been sitting out forever. Also, let's talk about what we paid. On the website it said $5.69 for the lunch buffet, and there were only two of us. Our total came up to $15.13, and it doesn't add up right at all. We didn't complain, but I'm pretty sure she overcharged us, or even took our her own tip without telling us. Now the building inside was awesome. Very clean. But, with the service here, and the poorly put together buffet, we had to go to a fast food restaurant that served their customers with much better service, and...
