I had a diabetic emergency with a severe sugar drop and darted into the shop trembling and barely able to speak. The young lady at the counter was so helpful and comfortable with the situation. I showed her my bracelet and she saw me trembling and immediately served me some soft drink and asked if I needed an ambulance. Thank God I was ok after sitting for a bit but she was attentive and treated me as if I were family. I wish I remembered her name. So impressed by the way I was treated I did come back to eat. They do not disappoint. Although I restrict carbs as a diabetic, if I'm going to splurge occasionally for a sub, you can bet it'll be at the Firehouse. Fast, friendly service in a clean, spacious atmosphere. Great food with old fashioned manners and hospitality! Kudos gang. Keep up...

Called in Ahead. Order not ready. Walked up to the counter to pay. Paid , order still not ready. Had to wait 5 min before anybody would even take my money. Got told they were working on my food.(2 basic hot sandwiches, not a large order) Waited at a table and watched 3 different groups order after me and get their food. Still they have not called my name.....Walk up to counter to ask about my order. Worker is clueless when I give my name and asks what I ordered. He then walks over to the register area and finds my food which is now cold. No discount or refund offered. Manager implied it was my fault because I called in my order...

Firehouse is amazing, it's by far my favorite sub shop. You get a REAL sandwich. I wouldn't say this is a place that focuses on healthy sandwiches, it's a place that focuses on taste over health so to speak. The staff is so nice and friendly and always get my order correct, no matter how specific. You can eat inside, it has a nice atmosphere but i typically use the app and order take out. I've never had to wait on it when I do use the app, it's always ready. By far the biggest and best sandwiches you can find.
