This has to be the most horrible experience I have had. We placed our order at the drive thru speaker, only to be told rudely to hold on, after being told to place it. I waited almost 10 minutes to place the order. Then 20 minutes later, and I mean literally 20 minutes, we finally make it to the window to pay for our 24 pk Krystals, only to be told to pull up, they have to start cooking them. Asked for my receipt to be told they will bring it out with our food. Another 15 minutes pass, and while we are waiting I see them handing out food to the 3 cars behind us. Finally a young man brings our food out while scratching his head over it, by this time I am already livid. Ask if my receipt is in the box to which he states no, he will go get it, thus another wait. Finally have everything and go to leave just to realize that this took well over 45 minutes for 24 Krystals, and I’m sorry but this is not right. I could understand if they had been busy when I got there, but only 2 cars were in front of us. Add that to the rudeness and disgusting way he was scratching his head over the food, I should have just had them return my money, but I didn’t want to be there another hour while they did it. Threw it in the trash when we got home, because I don't want my family eating someones dead skin and hair. Something needs to be done about this store.
Update it is now November 26th 2024, and I still have not got a response from these people. This is a pathetic and horrible place to eat. Have not been back since this happened, but I've been hearing horror stories from others that...
Read moreI placed my order at the speaker box, and the last item I requested was a vanilla milkshake. The employee instructed me to pull around, which I did, and I provided my payment. After a few minutes, he returned with my food and closed the window. At that point, I realized I had not yet received the milkshake. When I inquired about it, the employee responded in a rude manner, stating that he had not registered my request for the milkshake. I explained that I had specifically mentioned it during the order. He then informed me that they did not have any ice cream available to prepare the milkshake. I expressed that this information could have been communicated at the speaker box, to which he curtly replied that he was informing me at that moment.
I believe it is essential for employees to engage with customers in a respectful and professional manner at all times. Regardless of any challenges we may face in our roles, it is important to remember that our interactions with customers play a crucial role in maintaining a positive business environment. We ordered through DoorDash because my husband is an over the road truck driver and has been up for over 24 hours so he didn’t want to get out of the house if he didn’t have to. We got our food and the large fry was barely half full, we ordered no mayo on his chik and of course it had mayo, and my Roadie Coke was basically just carbonated water. I was livid. My husband had to go because we have 2 babies. Now, granted, he could’ve went about correcting them a little differently, but after being awake that long and all he wanted was a chik, I understand his frustration. I’ve worked at the Rainbow City location back when it was still open and let me tell you, that was the easiest job I’ve ever had. It’s not hard to read a ticket.
