I have been a Kay’s member for about 6 years. It all started when my husband and I got engaged (where we bought our rings for each other). I have to share my experiences this time! So I’m 1993 my Nana bought a ring for me and she wore it until I was 13. When I turned 13 she placed it on my left ring finger to be replaced one day. I wore it for 18 years when the band broke sadly. I don’t have any warranty or insurance on the ring. I figured I would take it in since I’m a member and see if I can get it fixed. Little did I know I would leave and cry in my car! They was able to fix it, made it round again and also made it shine! I always told myself if I’m ever blessed to have a little girl I would pass it down it her. Well my sweet girl went with me to pick it up she’s 3. Upon getting my ring I had to double check the inside of the band cause I knew there was a defect there just to be sure it was the same. When I say shocked I was shocked! When we was walking out my daughter asked if I got my ring. In which I replied I got our ring. Which is what ultimately made me cry. I’m a very happy member! Read moreTook engagement ring in to the local Kay's(Gadsden Mall) for cleaning and was told a setting was loose....no problem. The issue was that I was told it was covered under warranty. Then, a couple weeks later they call and say it's not under warranty and it'll be $2,500 to fix it. I refused and raised the issue to the Kays home office. They then said $2,000....I refused, then $1,500...I refused. Finally it got down to $800 and I still refused to pay. This happened a few years ago and they still have my ring that I bought and paid for. Kay's refuses to release it without being repaired which is nothing more than blackmail. Read moreHorrible horrible customer service! My ring was ordered. Was told it would be delivered November 13th. November 13th comes around and we call to see if it came in, and they told us our order somehow got canceled. We had to go back to the store to reorder it and 6 weeks later, it still isn’t in. Went there today to see what the issue was and why it hasn’t came in and the man basically said he had no idea and he had no way to look it up or find out and to comeback tomorrow when someone else is working! We will NEVER use them again! Don’t waste your time!...
