Shanghai Express — Restaurant in Gadsden

Cold food slow service, wasn't greeted when I came in wasn't acknowledged until they asked what did I want and that took about 7 minutes just standing there waiting to be waited on. The food was cold and the flavor very bad . Teriyaki chicken tasted nothing like teriyaki, egg drop soup had no flavor, and the egg roll disgusting. Maybe if the young boy working thee would stay off his cell phone and speak to customers and wait on them and make sure the food is hot this might have been a better experience along with putting some flavor...

Some of the Nastiest, unseasoned food i have ever tasted...I asked were the eggrolls freshly cooked..they said yes and i received room temperature soft eggrolls..i could have cried; as long as i hve been craving Asian...the rice is NOT fried, it's steamed, lumpy, unseasoned slop..once you add soy sauce it"s slimy..I was very disappointed..i didn't mind the price raise until i tried to eat it...i had to come home and heat my food..it was barely room temperature..i will never go back...

The food here is absolutely amazing!! I have never eaten rice without some type of sauce this rice I can eat all day on its own. The inside is so clean and well-maintained. The employees are so kind and happy to help. In some restaurants especially drive-thrus the employees look and act like they hate their jobs and everyone. If you want kind, happy people and amazing food then this is your place. Did I mention a drive-thru!!! The food has always been hot and fresh!! HIGHLY...
