Danny's Donuts#2 — Restaurant in Gainesville

I would like to share my experience with this location!!! Me and my toddler came to this location every morning for his breakfast.. however this particular morning the guy with glasses decided to be very rude as he thought a 2 year old was trying to steal a juice pouch!! He make his comments to my kid and I didn’t like it at all.. I took my son to daycare came back to speak to this gentleman at this time the lady was in the front with him!! I tried to have a conversation with him and the lady on how I didn’t like how they made there comments to my kids and we want be coming back to this location because of the manner they handled this situation the lady started laughing in my face said fine don’t come back and the guy proceeded to tell me to get out!! I wanted to have a proper conversation with these 2 but it didn’t happen!! This really sadden me because I try to treat others as I would like to be treated and I couldn’t even get my point addressed make your comments to me not my 2 year old!! Not just this incident but others...

I have been coming here for a long time and I originally gave them a 5 star review. Recently I noticed that when the lady rings me up, my total is higher than when the man rings me up. The price for my 2 donuts is listed on the menu so I asked her how much is the pint of milk. She said after tax it's $3.20. I said oh wow those are around $1.40 at Publix. She said then buy it at Publix. I said ok I guess I will, and maybe I should just buy my donuts there while I'm at it. She said go ahead I don't care. I told her I come here to support small business, but since she's going to be rude to me for just giving feedback about the price, unfortunately I will not be coming here anymore. 1st review: I love their donuts! Danny’ Donuts has one of the most amazing breakfast burritos! It has eggs, cheese, bacon and… Chorizo! I’m sure if you’re not into chorizo you can get it without, but man what a hot and tasty combo this is! They also have packets of Texas Pete’s if you want to amp it up the spice level a notch! I now have to stop in here anytime I’m in Gainesville in the mornings to get one of these burritos as well as their iced coffee which love as well! And obviously they have amazing Donuts so if I have my kids with me they love the selection they have as well. The staff is always super friendly to me as well.
