If I could give this place zero stars then I would. I so not recommend anyone going here. Sadly they have always messed up on my order. Today was the 1st time I decided I was done with a mix up. 1st they told me my orders total was $15.58 the I get to the window and I'm told it's a different price. $16.50. Then my order was also not accurate. I ordered 10 breakfast burritos, 1 big mac, 1 sausage mcgriddle, 1 cheeseburger happy meal, 1 mcdouble, and 2 cheesy bacon fries. Was only given one burrito, 1 big mac, I happy meal w/ blueberry slushie, 1 mcdouble, 1 cheesy bacon fries. They however did not put the other 9 burritos on my order, I was told I could reorder this item and pay again, and then pull forward. As I'm driving away my 7 year old asks fit for her sausage mcgriddle, which I now see is not in the bag. I park and go to the door, knocking because it is locked, mind you there are about 7 teenagers standing in line by the register, one comes to let me in but is told not to unlock the door. I now have to wait in drive-thru to receive a sandwich I've already paid for. I finally get to the window and I'm definitely not happy, and she says did you order such and such I say no I'm back I'm the order you already messed up on. I'm not happy, I would like the sandwich that I paid for, very sternly. I am told not to talk to her that way. The manager then comes overy I state that they messed up on my order bad and I just want my daughters sandwich. To which she says if you are going to yell at me, now I do yell because they were yelling. She proceeds to lock the drive thru window. I say I'm going to call the cops, they call the cops. I am no longer allowed at this McDonald's but I would never come back here. I'm just warning you all, they will always mess up your order and will never make it right. You will be in the wrong and be told to leave. Sad whatever happened to making things right for your customers especially when you are the one who made the mistake. Think how much this McDonald's makes everytime they forget to put something in your bag. Say it's a $2, $3, even $4 item, let's see the $2 item if 600 people go through that's $1200 hard earned dollars ripped out of peoples pockets then 364 days out of the year(I know 365 days but they are only closed 1 day out of the year I believe) now that's $436,800 that year, then the $3 item is $1800 if they had 600 customers that day, now you are looking at $655,200 that year taken out of a persons pocket, now if it's a $4 item you are looking at $2400 taken if 600 customers went through now that would be $873,600 hard earned dollars taken from their customers. That's sad how much they are stealing from everyone. Because that is stealing, but I'm told it isn't. They did finally give me my mcgriddle sandwiches after the cop arrived, I only needed one but they decided to give 2 since law enforcement was there, it shouldn't have come to this, they should have made it right without calling the cops. Hey never again, I know I'm not the only one who has left this same kin of review minus the cops being called. On trip advisor another reviewer said be forwarned they will always mess up on your order in drive-thru. They always forget to put something in your bag. Also there are a lot of one star reviews all for same thing, order either not correct or missing items. I worked at Mcdonalds when I was a teenager and I was trained the customer is always right if you make a mistake you fix it, you also shouldn't be making that mistake. You ask the order, then repeat the order, then fill the order. That is not a hard task. I was also trained in team work, you work together and get the job done. This place is blame the customer, treat the customer like trash, and then run your mouth about your customers. If we all started to stand up to their rudeness and actually stopped ordering here completely you'd see how fast the owner would fix...
Read moreI recently had an incredibly disappointing experience at the McDonald's located on Jesse Jewel Parkway. I visited the establishment with high hopes of grabbing a quick meal, but unfortunately, it turned out to be a complete letdown.
First and foremost, the most frustrating aspect of my visit was the fact that the restaurant seemed to close randomly. Despite their posted hours indicating that they should have been open, I arrived to find the doors locked and the lights turned off. There was no explanation or notice provided, leaving me and several other bewildered customers standing outside with empty stomachs. This lack of consistency and adherence to their own schedule is simply unacceptable.
Moreover, the staff members at this particular McDonald's were incredibly rude and unprofessional. When I managed to catch one of the employees as they were leaving the premises, they brushed me off with an indifferent attitude and made no effort to address my concerns or provide any explanation for the sudden closure. It was evident that customer service was not a priority for them, leaving me feeling frustrated and disrespected.
To add insult to injury, I had placed a mobile order through the McDonald's app, hoping to bypass any potential wait times. However, despite being charged for the order, I never received it. There was no way for me to reach out to the restaurant or request a refund through the app, leaving me out of pocket and hungry. It is completely unacceptable for a company of this magnitude to mishandle mobile orders and fail to provide a basic level of customer support.
Overall, my experience at the McDonald's of Jesse Jewel Parkway was beyond disappointing. The random closures, rude staff members, and inability to fulfill a mobile order have left me with a negative impression of this location. I would strongly advise against visiting this particular McDonald's if you're looking for a reliable, pleasant, and efficient dining experience. Save yourself the frustration and disappointment and find an alternative establishment that values their customers and can provide the service...
Read moreLadies and gentlemen, it's DAD. I'm wearing my ankle socks and sandles, and I'm ready to talk about the golden arches in Gainesville, Georgia, folks! Now, I know what you're thinking, "dad, what how could McDonald's have anything to do with football?" Well, let me tell you, my friends, just like a quarterback needs his offensive line, a hungry fan needs their Big Mac and fries! Now, I've been to my fair share of McDonald's locations, but this one in Gainesville really stood out to me. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a smile and a warm welcome. The staff was quick to take my order and even quicker to get my food out to me. And let me tell you, that Big Mac was something special. It was like the perfect touchdown pass, right on the money! But it wasn't just the food that impressed me. It was the atmosphere. The dining area was clean and well-maintained, and the decor really captured the spirit of the town. I even saw a few high school football jerseys hanging on the wall! It's clear that this McDonald's is more than just a fast food joint. It's a part of the community. Now, I know what you're thinking, "dad, you're just saying all of this because you got a free meal." And to that, I say, "Well, yeah, I did get a free meal. But that doesn't change the fact that this McDonald's is top-notch!" And let me tell you, folks, the only thing better than a free meal is a free meal with a side of dad jokes. And this McDonald's did not disappoint in that department! So, if you're ever in Gainesville, Georgia, and you're looking for a quick bite to eat, I highly recommend stopping by this McDonald's. It's like a touchdown drive in...
