Food was okay. Server was Matt in the bar. He was good and fast with the drinks. My issue is the hosts. I started as a hostess here when i was 16. Different managers back then, but the general rules of hosting havent changed. These hostesses just wanted to talk to each other. There was a 25 minute wait but so many tables needed bussed. We waited (party of 4) for about 15 minutes before we asked about open bar seating. We were told nothing and went to stand by a dirty table. It was booth 92. A busser named Ben was quick to help clean the table. I went to the front ( despite the fact that 3 hostesses leaning on the host stand had a clear view of us) and asked for 3 menus and a child's menu along with silverware and a booster seat. I had to ask for the child's menu twice, and i asked for a booster 3 times before getting it myself. When I turned around from grabbing it behind the expo window, Ben was there again and offered to transport my materials to our booth. The hostesses continued to lean on the host stand and talk to each other. After we finished our meal, my father went outside for a cigarette. While smoking, an elderly couple pulled up to the curb and asked my father to check the wait times. He came back and asked the hostesses if there was a wait. I couldn't hear their conversation where I was, but I had a clear view of them ridiculing my father as he went back outside to answer the couple's question. When we left, my father asked me to request a bag of peanuts to go ( something I used to always make sure he got when I worked there, and something typically available to any patron of Logan's). I went up to the front and was completely ignored AGAIN. Ben made eye contact and came from the server line to help me. I don't know these young hostesses but I was very continuously let down by their actions. I asked the young man (Ben) his name before I left and I told him I would leave him a good review. So thank you Ben for making less hourly than a hostess and still doing their jobs for them. I don't necessarily recommend this Logan's. There wasn't a manager in sight the entire hour and a half we were there, or I would have said this...
Read moreJust had the worst service. I'd love to give a better star rating because the food was good as always. Our server was less than subpar. We start with drink orders four guests at the table order alcoholic beverages while another adult and child order a soda and chocolate milk. Soda and milk arrive close to 10 minutes before the rest of the drinks. The chocolate milk was just milk with chocolate syrup poured into it, not even mixed up. Rolls arrive before the other guests beverages. One of the appetizer plates that were on the table was dirty. Server didn't ask to replace it even though one guest was using a napkin as a plate. Finally the other drinks arrive. Server then comes back a few minutes later and takes the tables order. We ordered two apps which she only brought one out. Now the other app I wasn't sure if it was still on the menu but had ordered it at another location just a few months ago. Onion petals...... I specifically asked her if they still had them and she said maybe. I told her throughly not onion straws that are stringy and are used as a garnish on some of the steaks. The trio app came out but no onion petals. Three of us order the steak salad, two being the exact same order and another with the steak on the side. Two came out wrong and one right. The rest of the food ordered came out correctly. A few moments later she brings out onion straws being the exact thing I did not want. She refilled my glass one time and never asked anyone else if they needed another drink or a water. She then brought us our checks. She spilt them wrong. So I wound up paying for someone's adult beverage. Then on the other check she discounted the wrong items and made the bill the largest it could be. Finally after waiting for our checks to be straightened out I was still stuck with the adult beverage. It took her almost 10 ,minutes to come back to run our cards and when she finally brought them back she didn't leave a pen to sign or tip her with. Avoid Jancy...
Read moreI used to love Logans. I took my pregnant wife and 15 month old son here for dinner. I ordered a New York strip "medium" with broccoli, my pregnant wife ordered salmon, and my son had mac & cheese. My steak came out raw and the broccoli was crunchy. The waiter asked me if he could re-cook the same steak. I thought that was a weird question because I had cut into it, but I agreed because I wasn't trying to be difficult. It came out literally RAW again. My wife had eaten 3/4 of her salmon when I told her to stop because her salmon was also raw and she is pregnant. (She doesn't necessarily mind undercooked salmon.) At this point the waiter brought the manager out. She looked at the steak and salmon and agreed they were both raw. She then tried to justify the salmon being raw because it's hand cut and thick in the center. She had nothing to say about my steak coming out raw, twice. She offered to take my steak off and give half of the money back for the salmon. I was appalled by her not just giving us our meal for free because of the terrible experience. I didn't come to Logan's looking for a free meal. However, with the service my family was given that should have been the least that was offered. The waiter came back with the bill and informed me that the manager told him that you can actually eat salmon raw. I was very confused why I needed a lesson on what raw meats I can eat when I order them with the intent of them being cooked. I ended up leaving paying 37$ for raw food and that includes the 10$ tip I left the waiter because he doesn't cook the food and he seemed like he was trying. Terrible management at the Gallatin location and a complete lack of effort/competence in making customer based decisions. I would steer clear of this location as they clearly don't have their...
