The waitress told us to sit in this booth and she would be right back. We didnt sit in booth bc it had food on the table and seats. We had to ask her to clean the table, she wiped the food into the bench seats. We cleaned the seats. I had to clean our slat and pepper shakers bc they were greasy feeling. We then had to order quickly she said bc a table of 9 just sat down and she wanted her order to be in first. There was about 20 empty tables and 5 tables being used. I got 3 tacos, without rice or beans. My tacos basically had NO guts - very little meat, 4 pieces of tomato, 6 pieces of cilanto, 3 pieces of onion and 2 pieces of cheese - it was as if each taco had the fixings counted .. I would have had to order 9+ to even feel it. What I did get didnt taste good and definitely not filling. I had a Tecato beer - it tasted like skunk beer - I left half of it. My wife had an enchilada plate - she left half of it. The waitress came by a few times probably bc it was not busy. When we went to our car, there were 3 kids by our car and it looked as if they were trying to break into it. I yelled at them and they ran across the street to their house. We noticed their mom was sitting on the porch watching them. I dont...

Tried this place because I wanted something different. And it was different. Parking was very hard to find since it was small and already packed for a Friday night. I took this as a good sign. I walk in to very loud singing, a man with an array of wigs singing karaoke. This was ok, but a bit too loud for such a small venue. We were addressed in a timely manner. They provided chips and menus, and returned to take our order soon after. While waiting we had to move because the ac vent started dripping on me and the huge speaker I was sitting next to was a bit much. Across the restaurant the sound was still loud, but by then we had our food so with finger in one ear began to survey our meal. Results were that 2/3 of our meals were delightful. My daughter was disappointed by her enchiladas classico. She said the quality of the cheese was poor and the sauce had no flavor. Her rice was a bit crunchy and also lacked flavor, but that the beans were very good. I enjoyed my sopes, and the salsa and black bean dip provided with chips were very good. My sister enjoyed her al carbon tacos but also was disappointed with the rice. This was...

Went here for lunch. Sign outside says best fajitas on the island. I beg to differ.... Ordered the tacos cabaneros plate , and two extra fajita tacos. 3 of the tacos were ok. Just ok.... The fourth one had a foul tasting piece of fajita in it. Like that piece was way past it's prime. Kinda tasted like spoiled meat. The rice and beans were just , ok... The tea needed about 20 packets of sugar to be even remotely sweet. The only think I really liked was the chips and salsa. And the black bean dip that comes with it. All three of those were exceptional..... The bean dip was really good.... I was literally the only customer, in the middle of the afternoon...... Figured the waiter would be real attentive. Nope .... he was busy watching novelas on TV and swatting flies around the bar . The price ..... $28 for one person to eat lunch !? $4 fajita tacos with 3 tiny slivers of meat in each.... DEFINITELY not the best fajitas in Galveston.... Will never go back. Wasn't worth...

We came here for breakfast. The lady greeted us but already started off by saying we could choose any seat but they had a crowd just sat so it would be about 20 mins before we could place our order. That is fine but they didn't give us menus at least. There were just 2 servers and a chips lady, though she never brought us chips. Finally we were able to put our order in, the server was friendly. After that our food came out in decent time and was good. I had the super burrito which is supposed to have all the meats but it was more potato heavy than anything. It was good, just not the best. If you are in a rush, I recommend trying a different place, but it's a good spot if you're nit in a hurry. Coffee was good and the price is decent. Single.stall bathrooms are a nightmare!

This location has to be a local favorite. Prior to our arrival, I told my Mrs., this was the place. The outside is not spectacular but it's the inside and food that makes this location worth while. The chips and salsa were on point with lots of flavor. The food was filling and homemade which only made it that much more special to me. The barrito I ordered was huge and probably enough for two to share. My son enjoyed his crispy tacos and my Mrs. absolutely loved her homemade flour tortilla chicken tacos. Our wait staff spoke both English and Spanish, which is a huge plus for those who understand some but not all. I would definitely recommend this location to anyone visiting Galvaston, Texas and looking for a great homemade meal!
