MarMo Cafe & Lounge — Restaurant in Galveston

We enjoyed this new spot last weekend , so we returned daily! The best espresso martini I've had on the island! Love the patio outside & the vibe. Inside is small but cute. Staff is friendly. Their lattes are one of the best we've had on the island! They make their syrups in-house so they are not overly sweet! They have live music on the weekends, which is great. We will definitely return to try the food. It smelled delicious!

12/31/22: Update. We finally returned to try their food here. My hubs & I split their short rib sliders, which were amazing! Tender and flavorful! Just wish we wouldn't have split because we wanted more! Still the best espresso martini! Definitely recommend lunch or date night!

3/31/23: Update #2. Hubs & I went back for lunch today (finally)! OMG!! I had their pork shoulder BLT on keto bread and added avocado. Best BLT of my life! Ordered food with a co worker here through door dash. Food wasn’t what we expected we ordered the air fried chicken sandwich the chicken wasn’t very good had a fishy taste to it and nothing compared to the picture. I know food doesn’t look always like the picture but I really think the chicken could’ve been cooked a bit longer and cut up instead of a hug piece of it in the sandwich. We have yet to hear from a manager to see if we can try something else. The person I first spoke to was very nice and so it’s now been going on 3 days to hear from a manager. Live music on the weekends, delicious coffee in the mornings and amazing food all day.

The sandwiches are amazing and perfect for lunch. They are huge and definitely good for 2 meals! The smoked pork shoulder is out of this world good. The Aus Jus sauce they serve is mind blowing good.
