Subway — Restaurant in Galveston

Horrible location and horrible quantities. I ordered a footlong sandwich and the owner (in which is a very cheap and deceiving guy) who was helping me was very rude and didn't give me the proper proportions. First off, I EXPLICITLY told him that I wanted an Italian herb bread, he proceeded to give me white bread in which I didn't notice at first, then, I was ordering an egg and cheese sandwich and beside him being rude, he literally barely put cheese on it in which is extremely less than other subways. (I know this because it's literally the only thing that I order for breakfast when I travel, so I know their proportions). I politely asked him if he can put more and he just looked at me dead in the eyes and said that it was going to be extra. His quantity that he put didn't even measure to be 1/4 of an oz which is literally below their standards, then while I was ordering he was making himself a sandwich in which I understand that you need to multitask but he kept leaving and going to the back as I was ordering. When I was ordering the veggies, I asked him for olives and he literally put 4, FOUR SLICES of olives on a FOOTLONG, he accidentally put 5 at first but he took the "extra" one out. After seeing all of this I just wanted to leave because they were being really cheap. I will still go to OTHER subways because the all of the other ones have been great in quality and quantity, but this one will NEVER earn my business again. I never wish and things upon people because that's just a horrible thing to do but I really hope that subway looks into...

Change of management - for the worse. Last couple of months, everything about this subway has gotten worse. The staff are slow and unfriendly. They never seem to be the least bit concerned that the line reaches to the door. The place is dirty. Last visit (will be my last visit) there were flies crawling on the food. The man who looks like the manager wasn’t very concerned. The outside looks like trash has been accumulating for weeks. The rack with chips had one shelf fall on the one below. They reattached the shelf. But no change to the chips. I guess they don’t care if your chips are crushed. They don’t seem to care...

Great lunch however staff is not aware that they should change their gloves as often as possible wash their hands in between changing gloves remember you sweat up under them gloves and when you change your gloves without washing your hands and we put more gloves on you fixing people food with sweaty nasty hands. Also staff would get upset with you when you ask him to change her clothes there needs to be more oversight and Federal Regulation of fast food establishments if Healthcare has establishment rules and regulations than fast food should have a standard...
