I saw this place when looking for a breakfast spot in the area, since I live about an hour away. First things first, it exceeded expectations. Far exceeded.

My wife and I split a bacon and cheddar omelette, requested well-done, and received it as requested.

It came with home fries (also could choose cottage cheese or hash browns), and toast (we picked sourdough). I added a side of bacon and side of sausage patties.

Service was excellent. Food was brought out quickly and the omelette was still steaming. It was exactly as requested, as was the crispy bacon.

The sausage was delicious. The toast was nicely buttered and toasted, with a good variety of jam/jelly packets as spreads.

The bacon was flavorful, and thick, and perfectly crispy.

The home fries were perfectly done. With the potatoes being fork tender and nicely seasoned.

Their salsa was very nice, a little bit of a kick but I wouldn’t consider it hot. It added some good flavor to an already flavorful meal.

There was ample parking in the back, though it was in the state of being repaved, so watch for puddles, probably will be done soon, and that’s not the restaurant’s responsibility, as it’s a community parking lot.

The waitstaff was attentive and since we ordered extra sides, we had extra plates, as soon as we divided up our sides, and set those empty plates aside, they were quickly bussed to give us more room on the table. After the meal the waitress asked how it was and if it was our first time, then she recommended options and specials for other days of the week. You could tell she enjoys working there and that says a lot about a restaurant!

They don’t keep their condiments on the table, so you’ll need to ask for things like ketchup and mustard, the mustard is French’s in a bottle, the ketchup is Heinz and delivered in little 2oz cups (see picture), so I had to ask for a couple more, but they got those to us quickly!

I honestly wish I lived closer so I could go more often. Now I find myself wanting to try and find a reason to head...

I genuinely don’t know how this place has the rating it does. Went a little bit ago …had a the worst pastrami sandwich I’ve ever had in my life. Not only was it disgusting,it was cold, way over cooked to where the pastrami resembled beef jerky not to mention the extremely small serving. That was my meal ,my mom had chicken fried steak it was also old, cold and the gravy wasn’t even warm also very disappointing. My dad who we took their for Father’s day got the steak breakfast once again the steak was barely warm potatoes were raw and eggs were cold…add in the fact we were sitting at the worst table ever that was lopsided and anytime you’d eat the table would rock and tip to whoever decided to pick up and put down their drink ultimately cause my orange juice to spill all over my dads plate…but to my surprise he wasn’t upset over that he actually mentioned it was a good excuse not to eat what he described as lousy …so we spent 60 tipped 20 because it was a sweet older woman but my dad wanted to say something because it was by far the most horrible dining experience we’ve had in a long time. Clearly they failed 3/3 times and if it’s that consistently I think it’s time for a new chef as...

You never know what kind of day another person is having or what they are going through. With that being said, I had a crazy experience last Friday evening.

I had a late lunch that day. So I wasn't that hungry when I agreed to go with a few friends to Kaye's for a bite. I decided to order chili fries. The chili fries arrived and looked amazing and smelled amazing too. I was just about to dig in, then without warning the plate was taken away! I said hey what are you doing that's my plate!

The server was openly arguing with another server. (Very unprofessional in my opinion) My server apologized. Then the other server said those chili fries are for one of my tables not yours! I said, excuse me I already touched this plate! She didn't care and took them away anyway!

I became so upset that I said cancel my order and I left my friends at the table. I waited a few days to write this review to cool off.

To be fair, I have been here to eat many times and never had a bad experience. This review is of my last time here Friday, November 13th, 2020. This review is not intended to be retaliatory in anyway, just something that I believe should be addressed...

This is our go-to spot for breakfast just before going to see the Strawberry Festival parade. Their food is really good and the service is great! It's a great little diner with tables and seats at the counter inside and they also have tables outside. I just luv the old diner feel of this place! I usually like to get the corned beef hash and eggs, which is one of my favorite breakfasts. And this time, we also ordered something different. In celebration of the Strawberry Festival, we ordered the strawberry waffle. WHOA! It was delicious!! The waffle was fluffy and the strawberries were so tasty! I would totally recommend this dish. Also, be sure to check out their daily specials. They usually have some good choices! And their prices are real reasonable. Going to Kaye's for breakfast before watching the parade is a new tradition for us - just like our tradition of going to the Strawberry Festival! 🍓

Exceptional service from Adrianna. Hers recommendations, attentiveness and customer interaction helped us having great dining experience. I was new to the restaurant their pancakes are the best. Tried the short stack, Adrianna offered us an idea of splitting the plate as we were two people. We enjoyed the amazing strawberry pancakes they were super yummy. Tried chicken burrito and vegetarian omelette. All the items were amazing. Coffee was good too. It is refillable. Amazing location and food was 10 on 10. Continue the amazing service. Love to see our community so winning with your kind restaurants and your services.
