Gardena Stinkin Crawfish — Restaurant in Gardena

I had a huge seafood craving and stumbled upon this restaurant last night. It was supposed to be boiling crab and then I thought of the horrible wait time and so I decided to give this restaurant a shot (DEEPLY hoping it can be on par with boiling crab 🙏🏼)! So, your question is, "Did it impress you?". YOU BET! I was so glad I found this place! 👍🏼

In terms of food, we got sweet potato fries and fried chicken as appetizers! The fried chicken wings were delightful! It tasted as good as the ones from boiling crab. 😋 The chicken meat felt fresh and not too oily! Their fries also tasted fresh with that slight touch of sweetness from the sprinkles of sugar! I loved it! Anyways, on to the main dish! In terms of taste, this is probably on par with the best Cajun seafood 🦞🦀 I have ever tasted (and no I haven't actually explored the whole LA for Cajun seafood, I have only been to 5 different restaurants that serve this kind of dish, but I enjoyed this place thoroughly, so they deserve to be praised for serving delicious food nonetheless)! 😏 Some of the must try are their quail eggs and clams. Oh, and did I mention that their fried Oreo with ice cream was AH-MAH-ZING? 🤩 I apologize for not taking a photo of it, I was carried away and only realized this after I finished eating it 😅! Customer service was very efficient and friendly.

food was delicious, servers were really attentive the day me &’ my friend went. the only problem was when we paid. when the bill came it was $69.59 i believe. i put my credit card down &’ jennifer our server picked it up to charge us. when she came back &’ put the receipt on the table it said $81.43 which was really weird. me &’ friend we’re contemplating on what to do because we thought that she tipped herself or she accidentally charged the wrong table. there were only 2 girls that night &’ it looked like there wasn’t a manager available so we left. we left &’ i just told myself that i’d call the next day but we just ended up going back inside to see if jennifer can explain why my receipt came back different. we go back inside &’ i ask her why my receipt came back different. all she told me was that they give a receipt before taxes which is something i’ve never heard of &’ didn’t make any sense to me. the taxes always show up once the receipt is printed. if she tipped herself or accidentally charged us another table, she could’ve told me that. i understand mistakes happen she should’ve just been honest with us. i didn’t want to make a big fuss cause they were getting ready to close so i just left. i’ve been calling the restaurant since &’ every time i ask for the manager, they always hang up on me. i’m hoping that writing this review they can be able to...

This place isn't great by any means, let's just say the prices don't coincide with the quality of the food don't get me wrong it wasn't bad but it wasn't what I expected, all though the king crab legs where pretty tasty, there biggest flaw in my opinion is the flavoring or sauce or whatever they call it( butter garlic, lemon pepper,and stinkin' sauce) is something they should really go back to the drawing board and revamp. I've never really been into these kinda places where u eat ur food out of a bag and make piles of shells and peelings on the table and I told the server this was my first time hoping that she could guide me or make my experience a good one and she just said "oh ok " and that was her response like if she didn't care, overall I would not come back. For the prices I would rather go eat a fine seafood restaurant grant that it might be a couple bucks more but I rather pay a little bit more for better food that comes in a plate with utensils and my hands don't smell all...
