The funny thing is I was headed to Grand Fish Tacos & Ceviche (next door) but then I saw pictures of food/soup on the window of this place. I love Asian soups, and that's where they "got me". đ¤Ł
I was greeted by Lisa (I think she's the owner) friendly and limited English but we communicated well! I also met Satođ¨âđł, the cook, the food really spoke of his many years of experience! They've been open 1 year (since November 2023), and the food is excellent! I ordered the (non-spicy) Beef bone broth with brisket soup AND much to my surprise I LOVED the kimchi. I want to go back!! (I use to never like kimchi so for many many years never tried it again, but when Lisa presented me with all these dishes to go alongside the soup I could not say no đ). The soup broth was flavorful! Next time I want to try the spicy soup!
Top sellers: Lisa says among Koreans, soups, fish and fried fish are most popular. Among American/non-Korean, most popular is BBQ.

Read moreCame here based on good reviews on Google looking for a Korean restaurant in Gardena and wasnt disappointedđ¤Friend made reservations for 7 people for a birthday party and the waitresses were very friendly and helpful as this was our first time here.
Ordered the Spicy Beef Brisket with Seafood, along with the Beef Bulgogi to share and others ordered the Bibimbap which looked real goodđ¤
Complementary Banchans are excellent, they came around several times asking if we needed refills on water and any if the banchans too.
Food was excellent and more on the larger portion size(I think the soups and plates are for sharing fyi) which we did end up sharing through the meal.
Korean soju and beer are also served here along with fresh octopus and sashimi that are market price.
Would highly recommend as this is a newer restaurant only opened for 6 months? Forgot exactly what the server said. Limited English spoken and customers were mainly Korean so you know its...
Read moreI was thrilled to discover this restaurant, especially after all the Korean sashimi spots in South Bay closed down. Iâve visited multiple times and sampled a variety of dishesâincluding my absolute favorite, the halibut sashimi. Every dish Iâve tried has been packed with quality flavor, making it hard to choose just one favorite.
They specialize in Korean traditional comfort food, and itâs a treat to explore the different offerings. The ownersâa husband and wife duoâcook and serve everything themselves, creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere that feels like visiting family. They genuinely enjoy chatting with customers and always make sure youâre satisfied.
The halibut sashimi stands out not only for its taste but for its freshnessâthey catch it live from the tank right before serving. The restaurantâs name, âJagalchi,â is meaningful too: itâs named after the famous fish market in Busan, South Korea, and symbolizes marine life,...
