Prior Experience: Cold brews are my go to and I never heard of a cold brew latte before. I ordered it because the way the barista described it sounded amazing. It didnāt quite taste as what I expected. Way more milk than I anticipated and not enough bold flavors you would expect from a cold brew. I was also confused because I told the barista to put down the name as just the letter āEā and she put it as āAndreā. I felt confused and embarrassed trying to figure out if it was my drink at hand off. She might have been new or was more eager to get me out of the line rather than listening to me. It was such a small cafe for how busy it is.
Recent Experience: I used my prior experience to narrow down a drink that's at least balanced in coffee taste, sweetness and milk. I wanted to give the coffee shop another shot and I was impressed. I had the Vienna Black and it was great. Second time getting this beverage and will continue to do so. I'll most likely get the plain black cold brew next time. I noticed that the baristas were much more engaging in conversation towards the end of their store hours. Drinks come out much quicker and smaller line which I appreciate. I just wish they can stay open longer, but that's out of my control. Tip...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis place is very good. I get the Vienna latte over ice. Customer service is what you'll get at a normal cafe. Just another drink/number, š we all know how that goes However, two cons. One there is always a long line. Every day! Which is good, bc it lets u know it's good. The last con, is...and I can say this, being half Asian. Asian businesses, particularly Korean owned, as with this establishment, are VERY CHEAP. Not necessarily a bad thing, I get it, it's a small business and your trying to cut cost, less product/coffee in this case, maximum return/ROI. I understand. However, they fill the drink up completely with ice, sometimes too much ice. Which already ur getting half of a drink. Add a lil milk, 2 shots of espresso, and a lil cream, that's the drink. When u get the vieena latte, they give it to you 7/8, sometimes 3/4s full. They add so much cream( that makes the drink really good) ~1", that the customer feels shorted. I asked to get topped off with more almond milk and the assistant manager (who I know personally) tells me it's Xtra. Like wtf?? I will not be returning. Besides I've learned how to make these drinks which will save me a lot more money š¤š°....
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe coffee here is good but if you go when itās busy (which is always right now), they are pulling espresso shots in an assembly line so they are sitting out for minutes until it goes in your drink. This makes for expired, extremely bitter espresso. You can see them sitting there turning black before they go in a drink. Even starbucks trains its baristas to never do this. It ruins the drink. Itās basic knowledge as a barista.
For an $8 drink and I assume them wanting to make a good impression since they just opened, they should stop doing this. I saw multiple people make a face after they tried their drink. Thereās no reason for ten espresso shots to be sitting on the counter waiting.
My buttercream latte is very hard to drink and after quite a bit of a wait, Iām disappointed but already left. I definitely wonāt be back when I see any type of line. There are enough coffee shops to...
