Update:
Ok my last review still stands but we need to talk about how the "small" or "not large" pork neck stew I got was a catering tray. Look at it! Those containers to the left were 32 oz deli containers that now look tiny. Was this a mistake? Did I win the stew lottery? I ate for a week! And it was absolutely delicious! I felt like I got the world's best deal combined with the very nice ladies who work there. They even had tables set up at the door so I didn't have to go in. Covid safe!
Also seriously, don't miss out on the jar of kimchi or frozen dumplings. I've been going back primarily to stock the house with the best kimchi I've found in the area.
Original review:
So I was looking for jars of kimchi in the area. What, you don't regularly look up "kimchi jar" nearby?
This is the best one I've found in the area. Yukdaejang is good, but it's sold whole and uncut. Miraku is Japanese style and sweeter than I like.
So here's the fun part. Trying to order a kimchi jar. The lady on the phone was super patient with me as I tried to explain that I did not want a side, I wanted the whole darned jar. I also got a beef sujebi, which was delicious and HUGE (one and a half to two meals worth! A full quart container of just soup). I wasn't calling in just demanding jars. I finally asked when I went to pick up how to order in the future and she told me, "BIG kimchi!" It did come in a styrofoam quart take out container but I got some spare plastic jars at home.
The included radish banchan was real fresh too. I wonder if they would sell me a...
Read moreThis Authentic Korean Restaurant is a gem for anyone craving a true taste of Korea! The menu boasts an impressive variety of traditional Korean dishes, each bursting with bold, authentic flavors. Their Galbi BBQ (short ribs) is hands-down the best I've ever had—perfectly marinated, tender, and grilled to juicy perfection. The smoky, savory-sweet glaze is unforgettable!
What sets this place apart is their incredible selection of banchan (side dishes), which elevate every meal. The pa kimchi (green onion kimchi) is a standout—crisp, tangy, and perfectly spiced, it’s one of the best I’ve tasted. The fact that you can purchase their banchan to take home is a huge bonus for recreating the experience at home.
The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with attentive staff who make you feel right at home. Whether you're a Korean food enthusiast or a first-timer, this restaurant delivers an exceptional dining experience. Highly recommend for the Galbi BBQ and pa kimchi alone—though everything else is just...
Read moreI was thoroughly disappointed with my food. I know it was close to closing time but my noodles were hard as a rock, dumplings were not even hot and it was all stuck together like a big mush! Korean sausage was not even hot at all. And they came out yelling at me that my food was ready!! I guess they really wanted to go home. I did not feel welcomed or appreciated for my business. Almost $50 for 3 dishes and didn’t even come with rice!! What kind of Koreans don’t include rice! Side dishes had no variety just plain & daikon kimchee which were waaaay too sweet! I can’t even take the food back to get my $ back. My guest barely touched the food so I am saving it and taking it back. Hopefully they will give my $ back. Terrible customer service, terrible food, over priced....
