Staff was great!
We arrived right at 12:00 p.m. and lunch rush was in full effect. I know it has to pain the owners of this location to see guests do what the group in front of us did. Open the doors, see the place packed, and then about face to find a place to get served in a quicker fashion. Seating is probably what keeps them up at night unless the patrons are quick to dine and dash are their repeat business. Saw several "lunch break" customers picking up to go orders, so that's a plus.
We opened and closed their doors as well until we realized our stomachs had dictated gyros.
Glad we did back to back 180's. Not only were we mistaken by assuming that service would be diminished by the size of the crowd, but the lack of seating was no longer an issue due to two small tables outside with four chairs that we hadn't noticed when we turned around initially. Outdoor seating rules, especially in this weather.
The girl that helped us at the counter was great. She took the time to list ingredients that come stock on their gyro/pita recipes that aren't listed on the menu with a smile. I tried the tuna melt which was great, although I would ask for extra tuna next time since the actual meat portion seemed small to me. Also, this is tuna salad, just an FYI. In my attempt to order somewhat healthy, I wound up eating mayonnaise. My fault. Fries were crispy and piping hot. There were a variety of your normal condiment selections at the counter and an abundance of Season Salt for some reason. I'm talking like 7 canisters.
My lady ordered the steak pita. She said it was delicious.
Overall, extremely swift, fast food style service, with a higher quality meal. Great lunch spot for us, and we will...
Read moreThe service was what you expect and want from a restaurant. They'll even offer suggestions if you aren't familiar with the menu (that was the case for me). The prices are actually cheaper than the $10-$20 price point google maps gives. I had a filling cheeseburger with the fixins' (they even grilled the onions bc raw onion doesn't agree with me), an ample amount of fries, and a fountain drink (free refills) for $8 and change after tax! Where else can you get that in todays economy?! Less expensive than most fast food now-a-days and better quality. You only spend over $10 if you splurge (in my opinion). My only critique is that the decor is outdated. Honest review. The vibe there is family friendly. I'm cheap but I like quality. This place has it! I could go on...but this is supposed to be a review and not a novel!
Edit: Or should I say 'Chapter 2'. I came back 2 days later and they recommended the gyro with fries. It was delicious, filling, and less than $11. I...
Read moreFirst time being here and the service was super friendly and quick. We loved the American style muscle car decor. One side of the joint has tables and chairs and the other has classic booth style seating. The food was pretty great. We loved the beef lamb gyro and the tsaziki sauce was the highlight. They have wraps, pitas, gyros and platters. Add a drink to your order for a buck. Will def visit again. The customer service was top notch and that is always very much appreciated when visiting a place for the first time. On Saturdays they have a special discount for those who bring a classic car on Saturday afternoon. Note: there are trash cans on both sides of the restaurant. They are decorated so they are not noticeable. Witnessed a guy walk all the way around to throw away his trash. ^^ They also have selections of bottled drinks and fountain drinks. They do call in orders and have...
