My husband and I always take a weekend trip to Michigan, based on whatever we feel like doing. This time, we wanted to fish and rented an airbnb on mallard lake.
While checking things out, we had to have abis bistro for breakfast. And I had my heart set on marys, not realizing the shared front.
Everything was awesome. Our bartender at marys, I think her name was Adrian, was AWESOME! As a service industry worker, she was beyond amazing. Adrian, THANK YOU for making us feel so welcome and comfortable. You are a gem. The food and beer was an amazing added touch! Keep up the great work.
My only "negative" reflection is the way the manager handled the pull tab machine jamming. When she shouted, "whyd you ask to fix this?" I said I tried putting five twenties with no luck, and felt really bad for the bartender.
I get we need answers as managers, but I just wished it was handled a tad differently.
Regardless, I think this place is phenomenal and would recommend to everyone! You all are clearly doing a great job! Keep it up! You left...

Read moreHad a craving for some nice warm pretzels and beer cheese so I went here, based on a friend’s recommendation. No one was behind the bar (where I choose to sit so I wouldn’t take up a table for just one person). After a while a waitress who looked rushed walked past and asked me if I needed a menu. I told her I wanted a Petoskey blueberry crush beer and some warm pretzels and beer cheese. She got the beer right away. About 15 or 20 minutes later I got the pretzels and cheese. The pretzels weren’t warm when I bit into them and the cheese was lukewarm at best. Very disappointing. I wondered if that’s how they serve them … or how long they sat before being brought to me? I was there at 1:30; not during a busy lunch or dinner time. Suggest they serve them warm …. or try to have more staff, if that’s why they weren’t...
