Tried this while I was in Mackinaw City this weekend and i was pleasantly surprised with the flavor and presentation. I agree with other reviews that this food truck is delivering restaurant quality food. Flavors were on point for the tonkatsu and the sauce was spot on. The fried rice was just the right amount of flavor to truly complement the pork. The pork was not dry for which, kudos to the chef. All in all, thoroughly enjoyed the food and will try to go again when I come back this way.

Food was good! Rice was cooked well and has good flavor. Chicken was fried fresh crispy, and was so hot we had to wait for it to cool a little bit before eating. Meat was suprisingly juicy to boot. This was their sweetfire chicken. It was very vert spicy. If youre not into very spicy food, I would stick with something else. I would definetly come here again.

Soooo good! The Tonkatsu was so tender and wa great with the fried rice. The Orange Chicken was delicious and tender but we wished there was more sauce. The owner was pleasant and informative and even gave us a sample of the bulgogi which was also delicious! Definitely recommend!

This was the BEST meal I have ever had from a food truck.

We started out with the potstickers which were served with a generous number and came with their “homemade dipping sauce.” This was savory, oniony, and tasted like a teriyaki sauce on steroids (they kept the recipe a secret). The potstickers were perfectly crisp around the edges.

After the delicious potstickers, we couldn’t stop. For the main course we ordered the tonkatsu which was pork breaded with a crispy exterior, this crunch drew me into the dish and the Japanese style BBQ sauce made me never look back. We also ordered the sweet and sour chicken which, I kid you not, was the equivalent of a half a chicken (all helpings were very generous). In addition, we had the beef bulgogi, which was perfectly savory and rich — it pulled the moisture out of my mouth and replaced it with delicious flavor. Finally, we ordered the vegetable stir fry — a simple yet delicious dish.

At this point we were stuffed, but after going this far we couldn’t go back — we had to try their desert. The sweetened cream cheese wontons, topped with raspberry and chocolate sauce was the epic climax of our meal. First, you taste the sauces on top as well as the crunch of the crispy wonton. Then, when you think it can’t get any better, the rich cream cheese hits your tung. It was so good my family just looked at each other, unable to to say anything but, “WOW.”

Although the two people operating the food truck were busy making food for many customers, they were nothing but kind and helpful. I would highly recommend eating here if you happen upon the truck in...

This place is exceptional and therefore I’m breaking my silence and writing my first ever review. Hands down best meal I’ve had in a long time. We’ve been on the road for a while and, in addition to perfect hot meals and dessert, also had the fortune of Devin’s company and conversation during the lulls on a Thursday evening after Labor Day in Mackinac Island. Could not have asked for better food or company. Everything we had was delicious. We will have to come back or follow the truck on the move. Two thumbs up… well, four if you count...
