My husband and I stopped in for breakfast, and the place was packed. I ordered, and we went outside to wait… and wait. I watched people who had ordered after us be served, but I knew they were swamped, so waited some more. Finally after an hour, I went inside to pay for our drinks because we needed to get on the road. The owner was very apologetic that our order must have gotten lost, and all was good. The reason I’m giving this place five stars even though we never got to try the food ( which looked delicious!) is because my husband noticed today that the charge for our two lattes had been refunded to our credit card. I understand that mistakes happen, but I really appreciated the fact that the owner not only remembered our situation, but that she took the time to reimburse us for our drinks… that’s good customer service, and you don’t find it very often anymore. Looking forward to trying that bacon croissant next time we’re...

We were greeted by a very flustered, very rude older women upon arrival. I understand that we had a large party but she assumed that we were going to be impatient waiting at a small place instead of giving us the benefit of the doubt. To top it off, we were significantly overcharged for our meal but my sister (who paid) was too overwhelmed by the experience as a whole to say anything. It appears that the woman who was taking our order was “too overwhelmed” to ring us up as we ordered and we were charged for our food and another party’s. It was insane that our party of 9 with entrees only and two drinks was charged $130+ when the median price of a menu item is roughly $7. The only reason I’m not giving one star is that the food was good and the other cashier was pretty nice. I’m trying to be understanding that times are hard especially for small restaurants but this was probably one of the worst experiences service-wise I...

Food was great but the service I got from the hostess/waitress was just plain rude. I don’t usually leave reviews but felt this experience warranted a warning for whoever goes here. I walked in holding my 3 month old, stood in the entrance area waiting to be seated only to be greeted with a “what do you want?” The waitress seemed frazzled and then said there weren’t any seats, looking at me like I should leave but I said I could just wait on the entrance couch. No one offered me water or anything as I patiently waited for about 15 mins. I finally decided just to get takeout and the waitress said again in a hasty tone “what do you want?” without even having given me a menu. There was no sorry for the wait or any common courtesy, not even a smile in reply to my thanks yous. On top of it all I ordered and paid for a BLT with added avocado and came to find no avocado once I got back to my picnic area. I won’t be...

This place is a gem and worth stopping in for a quick bite, fun sweet treat or a gift for yourself or friends. They have unique candy that is freeze dried and will bring out the kind in you. The pastries are hard to decide between, but we got the chocolate chip scone (so big 2+ people can share if you're into that kinda thing) and the cheese danish with a blueberry limoncello filling. Is light, buttery and flavorful and too good to share. They give you taste samples and the staff is kind and fun to chat with. Another great part is the unique artwork, jewelry, housewares and magnets. Take a minute to discuss what you see and they'll tell you about the artists and it makes the visit more special. The patio is cute, and the view is gorgeous. You'll make this a regular stop on your way to or from the slopes, guaranteed!

Best breakfast in Georgetown, every single time!! We've been breakfasting at Mountain Mama's for years. This past weekend was no exception. No matter how busy, the food is always fresh and fabulous. The staff is always friendly, efficient and helpful. It's a cozy place with outdoor seating too. Highly recommended for breakfast but they are open for lunch too. Daily specials are offered too! We love the bagels, the breakfast sandwich and the burritos!! Do not miss the brownies or the other baked goods too!!!!! Definitely try the homemade jams and take some to go!! Support local business!!! This place is truly the GEM of Georgetown!!

Love Mountain Mama! My friends and I love stopping by here to either hike or climb in Guanella Pass. The cinnamon roll is so good made in house that I usually get that but I heard their other baked goods are amazing as well. Decently large portions on my order of the biscuits and gravy with over medium eggs. My friend got the soup and sandwich and loved the portion sizes as well as the aesthetic of the food. Highly recommend this place with amazing local staff members working it!
